Indeed

inb4 people posting 10 languages, if you don't have at least the equivalent of a C1 (b2 is already pushing it) you don't speak the language.

Would you consider a Toyota Yaris to be equivalent to a C1?
2019-02-06 15:21
Yaris is better than a C1, it's probably worth a C2. If you have a Yaris you can say to know a language

2019-02-07 16:27
Your reading comprehension is poor, c2 is higher than c1, therefore it's the closest level to "mother tongue" (which is still far), c2 is proficient, c1 is advanced, can you even read?

if u have b2 u can speak to every english speaking person (in a mid lvl discussion). Im not saying that u may be a native speaker if have c1/ c2 nor that a native speaker wouldnt get the impression that u r a foreigner. Im jsut saying that u dont need higher english lvl than c1 to talk on a professional level. Also, With b2 u r to shar ur thoughts. P.S. i apology for #211 i assume that was a trick of a light (or smth.).

In that case I recommend you going for anios, even tho it isn't spelled that way, it makes more sense "ñ" pronounces similar to "ni" so yeah.

"i dont have these special letters on my keyboard, you know what i meant" BRUH. And btw we dont pronounce like "anios" we pronounce "años" dont know wtf you on about. We pronounce words with "LL" and "Y" differently that I can't deny.

What I meant by that is that Britland (the creators of the language if im not mistaken) should know more about the language than a NA dude, same case with Spain over latin american spanish language, that's why I got confused. But oh well ))

german english japanese french, but just a little bit - been years since I last used it, so I still understand quite a lot, but can't really speak well anymore..
2019-02-06 15:02
Could you show your japanese skills? It's like I know that you are baiting.
2019-02-06 15:10
Well seems like I can't.. I just wrote something in japanese, but "The reply contains special characters that are not allowed".. So you will have to trust me. I have studied japanese for a little over 2 years now, currently living close to Osaka.

You could always use romaji but that might be actually difficult for someone who learned japanese the right way
2019-02-06 17:52
You can write the pronounciation, since it's phonetic it would make no difference.
2019-02-07 10:32
bucchake, nihongo wo kana to kanji nashi de kaitara chotto hen na kanji da to omoushi, naze nihongo no nouryoku wo shoukodatetai ka yoku wakarahen. dakedo, ima kantan na bunshou wo kaita - manzoku shiteiru no kai? Here.. The translation would be "To be honest, writing japanese withouth kanji or kana feels a little weird, and I don't really know why I would want to show you my japanese knowledge (the negation written in kansai dialect ^^). But, I just wrote you a simple sentence - Are you satisfied with it? It really is weird writing like that and also weird to use spaces while writing..
2019-02-07 10:49
I am also learning Japanese that's why i wanted it, i actually wanted to learn how to speak first and the letters later. I'm only intimidated by kanji for now, other than that the way of forming sentences and the pronounciation is similar to Turkish. Do you think it's better to learn the letters first ?
2019-02-07 10:56
Learning the Kana (about 50 each) is really easy and will take you maybe a month (you can do it faster too of course) and it is very rewarding, because you will start being able to read a lot already. For the Kanji, in my opinion they aren't that bad.. If you grind and learn maybe the basic 500 ones you will realize that it gets easier and easier. If you are serious about studying, the most important tool I found for myself is a firefox addon called "rikaichamp" (exists for chrome too, but under a slightly different name I think). It basically is a dictionary which opens a small window with a translation if you go over Kanji in your browser..
