Imagine thinking you need more than 300 fps in CS:GO.

Well you'd generally want 300+ even in the bottom 0.1%.

i have amd card now (RX 580) but its kinda weird that pre rendered frames (also known as flip queque size) is hidden in the driver. I've read that its 1 for csgo but we cannot be sure i think. + Sometimes i feel like its 3 because keyboard and mouse reacts choppy.

amd slowly but surely is catching up on these features that nvidia already has displayed clearly like when they finally added saturation settings. funny because amd used to have these settings until they started Radeon branding. the thing is amd released an update around a year ago adressing pre render frames, and now it is 1 by default for csgo confirmed but still not something you can adjust with in the setttings. Maybe one day

It's only fair to compare it with rtx 2080 since they have the same price
2019-02-16 03:24
yes because 290 or 230 FPS at 4K resolution matters haHAA
2019-02-16 03:31
Using "haHAA" haHAA

even bigger difference at 1080p gyazo.com/c731bc958bf91185883b5e58224b3c..
2019-02-17 14:40
oh w0w 577fps instead of 500 when you need nothing more than 200 stable
2019-02-17 14:51
that is with a 1000 dollar CPU though, with a cheaper one FPS is going to fall

Imagine throwing out that much money just to get 570 fps in CS:GO instead of 350 LMFAO
2019-02-17 14:58
Yeah but what if you also wanna play other games? What if you use your GPU for work? What if you wanna play DM with 25 people where FPS will be much lower and you still wanna keep 300+ FPS? What if you don't have a thousand dollar CPU like they had in the test?

nice necro lmao - I have a 1060 6GB and it literally runs GTA V, Rust at 100+ fps when at Medium graphics - I get the same fps in a 25 man DM, my fps ain't lower - if you don't have a thousand dollar CPU like they had in the test you are not getting that gpu either
