People grow apart when they grow up, it's only natural, they make their own lives, they have responsibilities and most of the time are busy. Real friendship is hard to find and even harder to keep, that's why you have to do your best to try and keep it (if you really want to), because trust me to find that kind of relationship again is almost impossible and if you don't do anything about it in a couple years you'll remember your friend and it will tear you apart, because you still want her in your life. I'm talking to you from experience I regret every single that passes for not doing what was in my power to keep them close to me. I can't give you advices on what to do, every person is different but the good thing is that you know your friend from a long time, you know what she likes, hates and loves so something that comes from your heart will help you let her know that she's still important to you and no matter what happened in the past whether it was your fault or hers you still want her in your life. GO BIG OR GO HOME

I have also been very very close with my then best (girl)friend and after some months she just seemed to show less interest in me, and idk since then we have just been casual friends. Just try talk to her about it basically, i had lots of talks with my best friend after we saw each other less

Is she in your school? I also just "broke up" as you call it, with another (girl)friend which is probably one of the closest of my friends, if not the closest. And it's really like, I think we have just grown from each other. We might see each other later again. I personally blocked her as I had a hard time "moving on" if I kept seeing her on social media you know what I'm saying. I went to school with her couple of years ago but not for the last 2-3 years I didn't. It's not easy if you are in school together.
