They have good individual players but the teams are bad
All good players go play in europe
cuz there's no other way to have fun in favelas unless football
no money to buy out good players/coaches and all good players play in europe for the $$$
bad federation, corrupt managers, and bad coaches and so bad money division from tv
big team receives 100kk on your money and small team 1kk, so only 3 or 4 teams have money
that should be very obvious, because all our good players are sold to other markets.
1) 1 dolar = 4 reais
so, its easier a team from anywere to pay more than we pay here
2) good players wants to go overseas (mainly europe); but nowadays we loose for every country that has currency based on dolar or euro
Retard question coming from a russian who's clearly hasn't seen real football in his country in a lifetime
Because all worldclass football players move to European teams, because Champions League is only for European teams
Because European teams pay much better?
Not even close to everyone that gets crazy for football
Because all of our young talents they rather go to Europe, attracted by the better infrastructure, better payments and bigger clubs of European countries. If a player who is around the age of 16-20 starts to get some spotlight in the Brazilian domestic league, it won't be long until he gets lured away by some big European club. This was the case with almost all Brazilian players that get big in European football. Ronaldinho left Grêmio to join PSG at the age of 20, Ronaldo (R9) left Cruzeiro to join PSV at the age of 18, Neymar left Santos for Barcelona when he was 20, Marcelo left Fluminense to join Real when he was 19. And more recently Vinicius Jr. left Flamengo to join Real Madrid at the age of 18.
My point is, Brazil is the country of football but only when you talk about international football. And only because of that, cause our best players leave at a very young age to join big European sides and they leave our league with either the players that Europe didn't want or mid to late thirties retiring players that have become too stale for European football, which happened to Kaká, who came back to São Paulo FC to retire at the age of 32, Ronaldo who joined Corinthians at the age of 34, even the goalkeeper Dida, who won the UCL with Milan came back to Brazil to retire and played two seasons at two different clubs, from the same city, first he joined Grêmio the he left for their town rivals SC Inter, then retired. My point is, Brazil has the talent, but lacks the infrastructure to be able to keep the most talented players playing domestically.
A lot of stuff. Mostly CBF tries to kill football here since it ever existed.
But tbf football here isnt that bad. It is the most competitive in the world. It just lacks media european leagues have. And a lot of europeans leagues are overrated af.
poor investment, dumb presidents, poor country ...
Two words: capi talism
If all players only were allowed to play for teams from their countries our league would be the best of the world
Because the money is in Europe.
too easy my friend
if you know something about how the football world works, the european teams always buy the SA players because they're the best young players of the world
it's basic maths
Cause we fri our player base
Because in Brazil Clubs can not hold their best players, because europa / china / catar clubs buy all our best players since the age of 16
Actually football isn't what it used be in Brazil. Id say europeans (England specially) are much more passionate to their teams than us.
Not everyone goes crazy for it (except World Cup where I have to admit the whole nation watch it).
The national league sucks for several reasons, mainly because of poor management and corruption. Also due to european market that payout the rising stars, in late 90's everything changed. Teams in Brazil just can't hold upcoming talent when these teams come offering a pile of money.
Vinicious Junior playing for Real Madrid atm for instance was bought from Flamengo when he stil was playing in their academy team, similar thing happened to Neymar.
Big teams like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Barcelona have scouts across the globe.
Other than that, our coaches are godawful. Aside from 2-3, they only have market in Brazil and China, their approach to the game are stick-in-the-mud.
But Brazil will always have good players. It's just in our culture playing football.
Well, compared to Russian League it does not suck at all.
because they are poor ? ....
Are you serious? The answer is so obvious that 20 guys already said it in yout thread.
Same reason applies to Argentina.
because we don't have money and our best players go play abroad early
I disagree, the championship is very good to watch, I consider the most disputed in the world, it only needs a high investment to be able to insure our stars
