Nope, it isn't. Germany is a bit tricky at some point but "yes you can".
2019-02-17 22:27
fuck your der, die, das and Akuzativ,Dativ...without that it couldve been nice language
2019-02-17 23:43
Germanistan language is like the mix of some nordic language added with arabic. I hate this language, it sucks hard.
2019-02-17 23:50
yes i liked this language but now we learn fucking shits and i know nothing and i deny to learn it
2019-02-17 23:51
Hahahaha i'm just kidding. I like the way some words and some surnames sound in German, usage of ä ë, etc. British grammar reminds me a lot of german with usual words such as "amongst/whilst" But, literally, why is it "Die Banane" and not "Das Banane"? The plural is also annoying to record and the conjugation is like 3 times worse. I'm gonna try to invest hard in it, maybe it gets easier after...
2019-02-18 00:01
i would say its better Der Banane than Das lol
2019-02-17 23:54
Yeah, i know and agree, but my point is that putting gender on these objects just make it more confusing, you get it? Still, to me it is also annoying as fuck that some adjectives such as ihr, er, sie, can be used in different ways in different contexts, and you have to know WHICH is the correct by the conjugation.
2019-02-17 23:57
yea u r right...but there is no way to change it...i just know that after graduating i dont wanna have anything in common with german language
2019-02-17 23:59

Not Das Banane because it is a fruit. I don't know a fruit with "Das" Most of them with "Die" some of them like "Der Apfel" with "Der". There are things that can you call "der or "das" as example Der laptop" (most say this) or "Das laptop" because laptop is clearly an Object like a house.

That's a nice discernment, i appreciate it.

Yes, it is. English is like a really stupid German. Like an ape would speak with his hands and feed and say few words. Vocubalary is 10*more Grammar rules 1000 more. I dont say English is stupid but you need fewer tools to say what you wanna say. Even shit English you understand what the person wants. In German one word can make a huge difference.
2019-02-17 23:54
Dude, let me ask you something: As a german speaker, can you understand well nordic languages such as dannish/norwegian? When it comes to a percentage how much of it you can understand, reading a random sentence?
2019-02-17 23:59
Probably Like 10%

As German, you understand dutch good enough to assume what the person is talking. But other languages I dont know. Last time I was in Denmark as a child.
2019-02-18 00:02
That's pretty interesting, i pretend to live in Denmark in some few years and out of a curiousity i decided to ask a german directly, since from what i've searched, dannish is way more assimilated to other nordic ones than with Germanic in a general.

German assimilate other languages. Because its to easy to take an English or French word and give it a German structure. Like, add a "ge" or "ver" or a German ending for verbs etc. If you watch German eSports streams you can understand 50% what they are saying but it has become a part of the German language. This helps the German language a lot to survive.
2019-02-18 00:12
I see, back at one year and a half ago i found out that issue of alikeness between French and German grammatical structure, that was completely amazing for me, and the distance is from a Latin to a Germanic one. Unfortunately we can't say the same between Nordic and Germanic ones. I can understand a lot of French for example, because of English and Portuguese, but i can't do the same with German.

When I learned French I thought the same. Grammar is easy. But I can't even say or write one sentence. All this è é etc... The hell I barely pass the class. French has a lot more influenced by English and another way around if it comes to vocabulary.
2019-02-18 00:29
nothing bro
2019-02-18 00:06
I've tried to acknowledge some words in nordic languages(only danish and norwegian) only by reading it and guessing what it means(Only by knowing english) And, indeed, i couldn't understand shit.

You can get some idea of the meaning of a random sentence because some words look really similar. But you can't understand shit when someone talks in a nordic language. Danish is the hardest to understand, they speak like they have a huge potato in their mouth wtf
2019-02-18 00:26
Hahahahahahahahahahaha, i see. I see many europeans overall in every single community, and, when it comes to "worst languages" threads, many of them mention out Danish language, and many consent to that, i remember a dutch saying that Danish language gives him headache, lol.

2019-02-18 00:02
Why would you even learn this useless language, better learn turkish or polish if you want to communicate in germany
2019-02-18 00:01
I wanna try to move and study in Germany. But without german language I just can't do it
2019-02-18 00:07
Have you actually decided in what field? Sometimes, English is enough.
2019-02-18 00:12
I heard that u can study in university on german language actually for free if your german level is higher than B2.I have a lot of free time as well so this expirience might be helpful for me. p.s. in field that I chose english is not enough and I am sure about it

Depends on what and where you study. Some classes aren't even in German for Germans. In my study, we had 5 of 20 classes in English only.

That's useful info. Thanks dude

I think the university where you go is the most important. Every university has its own rules and own classes. You can't compare one university with another. Even if the "classes" have the same name it can be totally different.
2019-02-18 00:25
I understand it, but to reach my goal I need to learn german first of all . Not only because of education.

Okay, good luck with that. You need to be patient and If I am honest the most Germans even on a university can't German perfect. So no pressure.

Thanks dude :)
2019-02-18 00:33
