ELO system is Biased

it helps the big name team but is worse for new comers. they are already in pressure and you gave them strongest opponent. and some other teams who have big names though not in great form get easier matches. i liked the randomness of Major earlier because everyone would get fair chances and we used to see big upsets. there we were crowning real Major winner. Now current major is also searching for 3rd 4th.......... 8th ranked team which is good but my point is we are not having major to give rankings to the team. we are searching for champion so we should not force new teams to play against much stronger opponents. your thoughts are appreciated...

I think if all matches were bo3, doesn’t matter the system, who play better always win . Where we can find esl ranking or elo idk

indeed, nobody knows the seeding system's detail. no chart, no grah, ... just who vs who.

100% sure the pros aren't ranking them based on team names. The teams play against each other A LOT in praccs and know a lot more about each team than normal fans know and they rank teams based on that. For example in previous stage, ENCE was 5th overall over Vitality & G2 (Two very legendary orgs), and total of 3 teams had them ranked #1 (NRG, Vega & Grayhound).

very true, winstrike had to play only originally 1-5 rank teams every round while c9 played 11-16 rank teams, seems some teams get many chances despite being shit while low rank teams are hard done by their draws every single round, it doesn't matter if u beat rank 1 team 1st u get 2nd rank team next xd....
