Feels like comparing bad and bad in these terms. Nobody of both gives a fuck, all the want is to be elected/re-elected. We are ruled by conservatives for 20 of the last 25 years and I don't see them limiting much. But it doesn't make much sense anyway with our moneysystem.

2019-02-18 17:35
Yes USA perfect exemple to talk about national debt. President Nixon's Treasury Secretary, John Connally, famously told a group of European finance ministers worried about the export of American inflation that the “dollar is our currency, but your problem.” And some people told me earlier I was the one not knowing anything about politics.

Read up on Australian government history, bit too long of a reason behind their traditional policies and political sectors than for me to simply explain why Australia "aren't more right-wing" than "most" European countries.
2019-02-19 14:08
Then* and isn't* Australia seems more capitalist to me compared to European countries which seen to keep on hiking tax rates and increasing the welfare of the poor. Australia barely takes in avy refugees and when they get taken in they get transferred to some remote island in the Pacific.

2019-02-18 17:44
Yea but when it comes to the market in the nordic model, it is extremely capitalistic and free with things like low corporate tax rates. Their market are about as "right wing" as it gets in the world, there tax policies (outside of corporate) is far left. The Nordic model needs a very capitalistic market to feed there exceptionally large social safety net.

Why should I be proving such unsubstantiated claim wrong? It’s just a nonsense. If you want to discuss the topic, you have to provide an evidence, that political spectrum attribution is somehow cornerstone of the matter. With the mantra “Correlation isn’t causation” in mind.

National Socialists, Communists ... left wing ... used factual slavery as means of industrial production. ... ... political affiliation on its own has little to do with position on slavery, because the matter is based in holistic approach to basic human rights and the way how a person approach this topic has little to do with individualistic or collectivist approach to a society. ... If your claim would be true, North Korea, with its Juche spin on Marxist ideas, wouldn't be using modern equivalent of slavery in their Work camps. etc. ...
2019-02-19 16:06
National socialism is left? Because it used socialism in its name I guess. That's your knowledge of history? Neo nazi leftist!!

Do you claim that paramount idea of Nazism isn’t that the most important characteristic of an individual is its group identity? Ofc. it was and this idea is the most destructive axiom of left/collectivist ideology. I am not telling that National socialists were pure left like Communists, which you ignored in my first comment. Nonetheless, the main thesis stands, approach to Slavery is rooted in society as a whole and it’s relation to basic human rights, left and right affiliations just give tools how to propagate this underlying structure of society. ... American civil war, focused largely around Slavery was fought by people who were by no means leftists or socialists. Yet those people, centrists/right in today’s standards, were all over place on the matter.

Napoleon's partisans described themselves as rightist. That's different from "they would be by our current standards" you used. You are using anachronism, I'm not. Anyway that conversation was over when you considered nazis as leftists.

I agree there a some areas where they are not really right wing. But that doesn't make them left wing over all. And you know as well as I, that this discussion is way too complex for HLTV. A political party can be liberal socially, but conservative economically.... conservative when it comes to immigration... And so on and so on. Even if the second amendment was abolished there is not one cop or government worker who will agree to go door to door asking for peoples guns. Who the fuck is going to go down to Texas and try to demand everyone surrender their guns. It's definitely going to cause some violence.

+1 This is the only good thing about Turkey. People don't give a shit about right and left THAT MUCH(europeans and americans argue too much about right and left). People suffered too much because of extremists in 70's and 80's in Turkey so extreme left is dead and extreme right holds on only because Erdogan wants so. Also there is no right and left in Turkey but there is "For-Erdogan" and "Against-Erdogan" now.

The divide is just increasing and it is absolutely terrible in western nations, specifically America; it’s hard to see anything that will bring people together other than war. After a war, people will only then truly realize what the division of political parties brought.

Wow you guys are so “right” even pis is not right enough. It says right wing on wikipedia, maybe someone fix it?
2019-02-19 15:15
it says right everywhere, because pis pays 'polish' regime tv to say that they're actually right, no one knows why, but ofc dumb majority in our country believes that when you hear anything in tv about both the good or the bad things happening in poland, that's propably a lie (jewish demands for example are completely groundless, also you'll suddenly hear that polish people hates iran because our government is a puppet of usa and they literally have declared a war on them, also the same government fights with jews and russia, how is making enemies even from friends patriotic, idk) (if any persians read this, we really like you here))

It really depends how you define a country as a right-wing country. If it means that you have a right-wing party represented in the government, I guess Norway would be the best.

Everybody voting for conservatives is retarded though and I get the impression most young people here start hating on the left because they watch too much 'Shapiro REKT Libtard' and 'Milo Owns Feminists' videos on YouTube. There's a reason those people only focus on dumb college kids, cause nobody takes them serious in more intellectual circles... Their whole fanbase and haters (debators) are YouTube teens with issues... Yet people still fall for their so-called intellectualism. Tell me what has Conservatism or Right-Wing ideology brought? Absoutely nothing at all... If it weren't for lefties we would still be payed slave wages, working slave hours, no paid leave and vacation, no health insurrance, no 'free' college education, .... Is the current left degenerate? Ofcourse Are right-wingers or conservatives any better? Ofcourse not All right-wing parties in Europe agree Global Warming is real, only dumb Muricans believe it's a hoax (just like flat-earth) and youngsters watching YouTube video's get brainwashed to believe that Murican propaganda aswell. The Left really fucked itself up with their 'Multicultu' bullshit experiment... I'm Centre-Left, but at the moment I'd rather vote any (Extreme) right-wing party than any left party because they've gone batshit crazy (open borders, multicultu, genderfluidity, ...). At this particular moment I believe open borders and 'Wir Schaffen Das' mentality is ultimately gonna be our downfall, so I like it that right-wing priorities that problem, but once that problem is gone, right-wing governments are usually way way way shittier than left-wing....
2019-02-18 23:23
-weren't for lefties we would still be payed slave wages, yes, leftie solution? tax the income and give it for the lazy bastards that don't work. this should be considered as a slave wage. hmmmmmmmm, i wonder why one worker in XIX century, even though the food was more expensive, could feed his whole family (his wife and 5 kids, nowadays the worker cant even feed his wife, why? taxes) working slave hours, yes, because people can't think for themselves, if people were working 16h/day, they must've wanted to (same as a lot of men want nowadays), and if they didn't want to, they could change the job! omg!!! that's insane!!! and still, if you weren't going to school, you would work at least 12h/day, as it should be. if a man that doesn't learn goes working for 6h/d for the similar price as the man that did learn, where's the equality you guys like so much no paid leave and vacation ? the employee should earn money when he works, when he doesn't work, he shouldn't. that's logical. inb4 but ppl don't have money for staying in their homes - REMOVE THE INCOME TAX THEN no health insurrance, PEOPLE CAN THINK FOR THEMSELVES. LEAVE THIS TO THEM AND THEY'LL EVEN BENEFIT FROM THAT, BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T PAY ADDITIONALLY FOR THE BUREOCRACY THAT WOULD'VE COLLECTING THIS MONEY FROM THEM. TREATING THEM LIKE THEY MUST DO THIS, DO THAT, DON'T DO THAT (as long as they don't disturb other ppl ofc) IS A SLAVERY. no 'free' college education, .... yeah, 'free'... btw, you pay for EVERYTHING that the government grants you in taxes. let's make an example: (true, not usa) capitalist country: (the prices are an example, too) there's a private hospital you pay $20 for a visit (a very nice visit, because hospitals want to be competitive, also no queues because the old ppl don't want to spend $20 every day). you leave, you don't pay no more till another visit socialism (almost or 100% of eurokolkhoz countries): you are paying, let's say, $200 annually ($150 for actual hospitals, $30 for bureocracy and $20 for the minister of health). you get ill - you go to the awful hospital with huge queues, where literally everyone hates you. even the doctor hates you - so you go privately - for $40 - because the doctor doesn't need to be competitive in socialism. so, considering you'll propably be going to the doc 3 times a year (or more/less, you can do your math), you'll pay $60 compared to $320, and even if you don't go privately in socialism, you'll pay $60 for $200. (and for God's sake, if you say that someone goes more than 10 times to the doc a year and can't afford that, BUY HIM A FUCKING SCARF INSTEAD OF TAXING EVERY OTHER MAN) P.S. -All right-wing parties in Europe agree Global Warming is real belgium isn't the whole europe, that's not true, just like the whole GW bs
