I don't understand why all parties are divide in two. I would like to see a partir which got the good things from left and right and really help people without interest.

scomo is a literal ape, then again so is pretty much every australian politician

This thread was meant to be a discussion about the parties, not the leaders. However, since you brought it up, what do you think about Shorten?

he is an idiot too and has no hope of becoming pm. Australia's politics is fucked right now because no one candidate actually has the majority favorite and we end up getting independent parties with seats causing a hung parliament and nothing gets done e.g Clive, Pauline, xenon etc. In reality there needs to be a leadership shakeup, but there just isnt any available. TLDR should of kept turnbull until his time was up instead of backstabbing pm's.

Don't really like either but more likely to vote Lib
2019-02-18 12:48
Why's that? Do you care that they destroyed NBN? Would like to know the reasons why one would support either party.

I'm not a single issue voter, but for example they are less likely to support things like late-term abortion laws. That's something I care a lot about, as good as killing a child imo. (those laws are going through state parliament is SA where i live rn)

I see. Well I just wish we had a stable party in power with a single leader. I thought we were gonna get that with Turnbull but I guess I was wrong. I'd probably vote labor this time around but they won't win anyway. I feel that both of the parties lack the leadership and unity that they need if Australia is to ever improve. How can the pm get something done if not even his entire party believes in him.

I can agree with that. As i said not a massive fan of either and was disappointed to see the leadership struggles. I actually think Labor should win the next federal election tho.

politians are always the worst kinda people you want in power, its such a shitty reality but you cant do anything cause they try to represent people and the general public themselves is harshly diverse and completely stupid, as well as ignorantly opinionated. healthy man wouldnt vote for party with better healthcare cause he is healthy and that means healthcare is a waste of money
