Why complexity over avangar?
2019-02-18 13:04
2 reasons: 1. They were legends 2. Seeding system based on player votes - coL is more known amongst NA and thus will receive more votes
2019-02-18 13:30
Astralis Liquid Faze Navi Mibr Nrg Ence Big Nip Rng Hr Vitality C9 Avangar G2 Col Based on recent performance and the precious stage. Mibr is obviously a big question mark

True. MiBR e Na'Vi are big questions, but I'm assuming they'll play well this major. Btw, why would you rate big over c9? They lost to them on recent eleague tournament...
2019-02-18 13:06
Well I put legends a bit higher based on the previous major, but yeah big should probably be lower. Also c9 really struggled last stage

BIG had a new player and they lost 14-16 so not really a save win for c9. Also, Smooya is benched

True. BIG could be really good or really bad tbh. I put them on 12, but I could easily put them on #7, even #6. Let's see how XANTARES will perform. If he's playing well, he and tabsen can get them far in this tournament.

Ence 6 positions higher than rng after losing 2-0 to them? same for nip.
2019-02-18 13:09
even if they lost 2-0 ence is still a way more consistent team than renegades nip is a top team in my eyes so i ranked them as high as possible because this is an elo list not who could upset who list going 3-0 in challengers stage is not a spectacular achievement

Not saying they should be higher and obviously I'm biased. Still, beforehand they also beat G2 and BIG in bo3 - that's 3 of the teams ahead of rng who rng have recently beat in bo3.
2019-02-18 13:17
the reasons i couldn't put renegades much higher is because the list is stacked with so many good teams and this is the first time in like 2-3 years renegades have made this far in a major i could only put them above avangar and coL but surely they won't crash out 0-3 may even pick up a win or two

Idk. I XANTARES always underperforms on lan. Also I don't think nex is a good addition, I think they're lacking firepower right now.
2019-02-18 13:08
Lets se what gob b the mastermind can do. But i totally agree with u.
2019-02-18 13:10
I don't think so. nex and TiziaN are not too convincing and XANTARES didn't really persorm too well either
2019-02-18 13:13
Yea, @true_love remind this new things.. thinking now is could be difficult to them.

why is nex not too convincing nex and tabsen were the only reason why big had any succes until now and if your argument is nex played bad after he came back then you are fucking stupid how should he be able to perform on his top level after having a break for a month from cs to recover from his wrist injury try not to play for a month and then compete on a pro level hfhf also they played really good in the iem sydney qualifier and now they had time to prac and also nex now had the time to get back to his level so im sure they will be able to surprise
2019-02-18 13:22
think NRG will beat Faze though, or get higher placing

All those teams you listed have never beat a tier 1 team. Some of them (ence, Vitality) haven't even played. I am always skeptical about that because there's a huge difference of levels between playing on minors and on the major itself.

I´m still undecided on about half of the picks. The fact that there were no big events for the past 2 months doesn´t help because I have no idea what´s the current form of the teams that were already qualified for the New Legends stage.... I still have one day and a half to think about it...
