the best he could do to honor his father would be to have the highest ADR on the server, he'd probably be fucking proud up there right

honestly that is what i was thinking i hope he does it as it would be such a superb feat to be able to keep your mind that focused on cs when something that awful has happened and my condolences go out to him and his family.

I doubt it, something like that would mentally take most people out of the game. Although he might be "motivated" he will probably have moments in game where he randomly thinks about his dad just dying.

If recent sports history is any indication, it usually results in an increase in performance from the affected individual as well as the team rallying around them. Of course, that comes down to their/their teams mental strength which I think Astralis has in droves.

I dont think you can use those statistics with CS. since the game is a lot about using your brain and stay cool and concentrated, were the majority of other sports is a lot about durability and strength, were i could total see something like what happened to dupreeh being a big motivational boost in more traditional sports, because it can make you run that much faster and last longer and so on, but in csgo i see it as a negative.

On valentine's day my neighbour, and mum of 2 also died. I have moved away from home about 4 months ago, and I was not aware she has gotten so much worse. I have heard that she is much worse, but didn't know how much worse, so I planned to go say hi this weekend, because it was after quite some time that I returned home. When I got home, my mum told me that she passed away, and left 2 kids behind, cancer pretty much got to her just in few months. For some reason this death really shocked me, maybe because they live so close to me, maybe because those 2 kids are much younger than me and just lost mom, and I still have mine. And on top of all on valentine's day, that's supposed to be filled with love etc idk cancer sucks :( TLDR: Condolences to Dupreeh and cancer sucks :(

I know bro but you have to consider these guys are brainwashed. They are robots who plays cs every day since they are 12 or something. So they just do what they are told to. And i imagine nobody told dupreeh that it was ok to take a 1 week break.

it is just biased because : 1/ average iq on hltv is around 80-90 2/ average iq of people replying to this kind of thread is about 60-70 3/ Low iq people tend to repeat words they hear from popular people or mass media, it's called morality. And morality says : it is bad to have feelings, it is bad to do something else than working. That's why you can read this here.

Rip. But I don't think it will affect Dupreeh much in-game, his dad fought with cancer for several years, I think he was ready for his death, treating every day as a bonus. He also saw the pain of his father, so he surely has to be happy in some way, as he can finally rest. Rip once again.

I think he probably considers the death of his father as an unexpected mental boost to even have better motivation to win the major. I'm sure he can do it.
2019-02-19 17:22
Ya I do agree the way he went probably will make it so it won't affect him too much. He already knew it was coming and in a way it's a relief. Watching someone die from cancer is really bad.

Huh? I dont only want to see what he's doing to the game, i also want to know what he does outside the game. WHy the fuck do you post stuff on instagram? Its literally the same thing. He's not afraid to share his private life and if he play absolutely horrid he got a extremely fair reason to do so, he's just giving people warning as to why he may be down.
