A riddle

Norway PlusOneCollector
Two brothers are out fishing. One brother says to the other one: "If I get a fish from you, then I'll have the same amount of fish ash you, but if you get one from me, you'll have twice as much as me" How many fish each do they have?

The first one to get it right will get a +1 from my collection. Cheers.

Thanks for playing. Hope to see you in "A riddle v2". There I will hand out a +2 to the first one getting it right! They are pretty rare.

Technically it's 5 and 7 because you would refer first to the brother talking in the first person.

Technically it does not matter, as it is completely the right answer both ways around.

But you didn't mentio who has how many fishes. First one has 5 and second one has 7, which is reversed in your answer. Nvm you're first, gratz.

No, I want to get rid of my +1 collection, because I have started collecting something else. There will be more riddles to come, my friend.

For all you HLTV dunces who don't know why it's 5 and 7. x=first brother y=second brother "If I get a fish from you, then I'll have the same amount of fish ash you"=x+1=y-1 "if you get one from me, you'll have twice as much as me"=y+1=2(x-1)=2x-2 y=2x-3 Substitue to get x+1=2x-3-1 which equals x=5, and plugging it in gets y=7
