Did Russians in eastern Ukraine want to do ethnic cleansing like Chechens? No, they didn't and don't want to, they just want to use the language they want. You say that somebody don't respect your culture and language (who? Ask people, nobody really disrespects), so in that case you (and a lot of your compatriots) don't respect Russian culture and language. Nice. Have you ever heard phrases like "moskalyaku na gillyaku" (sorry for my transliteration) about ukrainians? I guess no.
