PRICE: 500€ (I can get it for 470€) b) PROCESSOR: i5-9400F 6 Core COOLER: Aigo Shadow Rgb Rainbow Sync MOBO: Msi H310M PRO-VH PLUS GPU: ZOTAC GTX 1060 6GB Amp Edition ( Garanzia 5 Anni ) RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400MHz SSD : S3 120GB HARD DISK: WD Caviar Blue 1000GB 7200 Rpm CASE: Noua Noob X3 Black o White POWER SUPPLY: Cooler Master Elite 600W PRICE: 850€ 3)The guy selling the first one (i3 8100) told me he could sell me the components if I want. Should I buy the parts without the CPU or the GPU and buy a better one? (I can't buy both at the same time). If this is the better choice what should I get between the i3 8100 or the 1050ti. What should I upgrade then? Sorry for having so many questions... Please guys, answer in a seriuos manner and don't laugh at me. It's hard for an italian to buy a gaming pc =)) Thank you

Basicaly you can buy a) on parts without CPU, cause I3 8100 have equal quality as Ryzen 1400X and costs 2 times more. GPU is good, you can buy extra 4/8GB RAM for 25-50$ if you will need (and if there are enough slots in motherboard). You'll also very likely need HDD but these are cheap.

why would he? the only ryzen processors right now that are considerably better than that CPU are the ThreadRipper ones, which are much more expensive. and the ryzen 7 2700x is more than 60$ more expensive

By tests I was making in Cinderbench in my workplace I3 8100 and Ryzen 1400X have almost exactly same score, however first one is around 250$ when second can be bought at 120$

What are you planning to play and in which quality you expect?
2019-02-23 01:54
mainly cs go (1280x720 medium-high // 1920x1080 low-medium). But I would also like to try some other games pubg, red dead redemption 2, god of war.

you are baiting, right? That would make sense now
2019-02-23 02:07
no, why? it can't run the games (besides cs go) at 60-70 fps with 1280x720 medium? if so I'm screwed
2019-02-23 02:10
Don't worry, both set-ups will give you what you want, with way higher FPS than you expect. Don't forget that Red Dead 2 and GoW are for Playstation 4 only (at least for now, and probably forever), you can't play 'em on PC. If you want to play games like PUBG with good quality in full HD (1920x1080) then the second PC is the best. If you'll stick to CS most of the time, the A option, which is weaker but cheaper, will serve you very well.

Ok, now I understand. Thanks a lot man!

I mean -GoW is Sony exclusive and for 99% won't ever be ported to PC -RDR2 is time console exclusive and probably will be released on PC around 2021 -CSGO will run between 200-350fps in 2K on both of these builds -PUBG is fucked in every way and no one knows how strong PC you need to run it smoothly. I would predict 60-70fps on high (a) and about 100fps (b) What is your screen model btw?
2019-02-23 02:19
Screen model, you mean monitor? If so I was thinking of buying a 144hz monitor (benq xl2411p most likely)

Benq monitors have questionable quality but this one is really good, 144hz is perfect for competetive games a'la CSGO

Thank you! You've been very helpful man.

Get a ryzen 5 2600 good price and great performance. Match it with a good gpu and you'll can play any game max settings with more that 120 fps. I have a ryzen 5 2600 with 16 gb ram and an rx580 gr over 200 fps in CS and over 100 in all other aaas games you can get all the parts you need new for around 350$ on amzone or newegg.
2019-02-23 01:57
Ok, I will consider it. Thank you!

Obviously b) is better choice. i5 9400F is easily more powerful than i3 8100 and the i5 has max. clock speed of around 4 GHz & more cores. Higher clock speeds is better for cs go, and more cores mean more multitasking or heavy app performance. Regarding graphic card, see if you can get (afford) Nvidia GTX 1070 which is at lower price now, since their prices have gone down globally after release of rtx 20 series graphic cards. Otherwise go for GTX 1060 itself. b) is a nice config btw.
