Dustin Poirier vs Max Holloway targeted for the lightweight interim title at 236 According to Dana, Ferguson turned down the shot at the interim title against Holloway. Personally I think it should have been Poirier vs Ferguson, those two have definitely earned a shot at the title. Holloway hasn't fought at 155, we don't know how well he will do, he hasn't proven himself. Now Ferguson has hinted that he is moving down to 145, which means we might never see the Khabib vs Ferguson fight (that's fucked.) Who should Mcgregor fight? I don't think he should fight Cerrone, he should fight someone in the top5, or a rematch with Aldo at 155 could be exciting. Thoughts?

My dream fight right now is Khabib against Tyron McGregor doesn't deserve a big match now IMO , so he should fight Poirier before having a shot against Ferguson. I also want to see McGregor against Tyron once. Also I don't think Aldo wants a rematch just yet

That's a good fight, but I don't think Khabib would be as dominant against people bigger than him (Askren and shit)

1. You are all casuals 2. If you think Tony will make 145, you are stupid 3. Yes, Dustin should fight Tony for the interim title (i think tony would accept that fight) but you know dana.. 4. Conor should definetly fight Cowboy. He needs to get an "easy" opponent to gain his confidence back. Imo he is an underdog against anybody in top5. But its not like Conor is a huge favourit over him, Cowboy can win that fight. Conors fighting style also has changed, if you look up the footage from his recent sparrings. I think he is done. He needs to train with that Ido portal guy again and get that in&out movement back. He fights like a boxer now.

Talk about an elitist attitude. Plus, you're acting like he just got beat by someone not even in the top 5. He got beat by Khabib, arguably the greatest lightweight of all time, and he made it competitive. He doesn't need to fight someone easy to get his confidence up, he would do fine with any of the strikers in the top5. Tony tweeted "I can make 145." That's the hint I was referring to. Lastly, you got that last part from the sparring analysis on youtube about his sluggish boxing style, don't act like you have some expert insight.

His striking against khabib was terrible, what the fuck you talking about? Conor is my favourit fighter, but thats just the truth of it. Conor made it competitive against khabib? No, it wasnt competitive. Except round 3, but think about it, conor couldnt land 1 significant strike, when khabib decided to strike with him. I know that he tweeted that, but if you believe that, you are a casual with no brain. I watched the video yes, but i also watch conor since he is in the UFC so the change in his style wasnt really that hard to see. Right after he fought khabib, i knew he was done. But, i hope he proves me wrong

He was literally the only person to ever win a round against Khabib. Plus, his striking is better against strikers because he doesn't have to worry about the takedown, do you really think Khabib would have survived on the feet if takedowns weren't allowed? He would likely dominate against Poirier again, because they are both strikers and he doesn't worry about the takedown. But yeah, I don't like his new style, hopefully he can figure something out.

I think if Nate Diaz wants to fight again( He probably doesn't) then I think that it should be the fight. If Diaz isn't available then I think he should fight the winner of Hollaway Poirier or Ferguson, There is a huge drop in the division after Poirier, Yes Al Iaquinta is good but he got absolutely manhandled by Khabib to the point where Khabib didn't Wrestle him anymore and instead just used him to work on his boxing, that's how bad it was for Ragin Al and Conor would also probably drop him in the first early on. I don't like the Cerrone fight either because Conor would obviously win it would just be a matter of time.
