Living in China is hard
 |
China FazeIsNoob
I’m a Chinese working in Hawaii, will go back to China later this year. This is based on my experience. I am working as hotel front desk agent, nice pay and commission, anyone with a high school diploma, a nice face and above retard level IQ can be a hotel front desk agent. None of my colleague has gone to college. They all have a nice house, car and happy family in Hawaii. My 39-year-old manager has two Rolex and god damn big ruby ring. And one of my colleague who is 24, has 5 cars. Meanwhile if I work as a front desk agent in China, can’t barely support my family if I’m not a manager. Not saying afford to buy a house plus a car. Not saying 99% Chinese gals are not interested to spare money while dating. Man, living in developed area like NA or EU is so ez. I hope people can cherish your life, don’t let your country become worse. ;)

nice, or maybe not nice, idk
2019-03-14 12:25
gl forward mate. it sucks for everyone where they live. even eu / na have their own problems. even india sucks at moments. working hard is the only solution.

Potential for destroying the world... definitely. Every chinese I've met in my life (>50 guys) only think of climbing in their position and make money at every cost. It seems like you too. They don't care about anything else. Apply this to a society which is the 20% of the world... yes, we are fucked. I expect the world being fucked in less than 500years. I told once a chinese friend that I changed my job to another one that made me feel more fulfilled but with lower salary. He looked at my like a martian. He said he understand my decission. But I now that inside, he thinks I made a wrong choice. You didn't even mention how relaxed and fun it is hawaii and american people. It's sad chinese children are taught to think only of money. Other countries' children are taught to seek happiness (money is only a helpful tool).... India... well. dirt, rubish, poo+river+drink

Take it easy man, he is just saying that with the wage that he gets working in usa he couldn't make a living wile in china. That is why most of the people that are not from na or eu are too preoccupied with money. Not because we want to buy cars and fancy stuff but because we need to make a living out of our jobs which is kinda hard compared to us and eu. Good luck chinese friend, we know the struggle.

I think the enviroment matters alot on how people think and etc. China's land is a government property and they are obtainable by contracts for 5-10 years to highest bidder. Therefore it's almost impossible to own a land or even a house. Most people there live in very cramped rooms. These things changes people. Also you should have not generalise a country from a few people. Just because a muslim is a terrorist doesn't mean all muslims are terrorist

Of course. Look, I'm super open minded. I've travelled to +40 countries and apart from EU I lived abroad in africa and asia. When I went to China the first time I was really excited. I've always loved asian culture and so. But I was sooooo dissapointed. I know not all chinese are the same, I actually have a good chinese friend I met in Tokyo. I've had super long conversations about these topics with him. He show me a lot of the actual chinese way of living and education. That was the first time I heard about antisuicide-nets in companies. That's why I'm 100% sure that the chinese way of living nowadays is going to blow up the world and if not, it's gonna blow up happiness from the world via competitiviness. In any case I don't blame user FazeIsNoob, nor other chineses. They are just victims of their education. But in the long term, we will be all victims of that. PS: I'm not a rich white guy complaining about china btw. I was born actually very poor and now I'm low-medium. So don't think I say that about money because I haven't needed it .

Not really lol. Minimum monthly wage here is around 1000 BRL. I don't see anyone who wins less than 3k BRL saving money. And this is 750~800 USD, so it's not a lot, you'll have really OK life standards if you want to save something with this salary. Also you have to be single and only take care of yourself. But in Brazil, 3k is something difficult to earn for most people. 40~45% of the people working here earn a minimum wage or less. 14 million were unemployed last year, which is more than 13% of the economically active population

i think it based on two things, your familys property and yourself. if your parents dont have much money , you should work hard to enter top university in china and you can eventually feed your own family and parents. This two things are more important in china than any other countries. Clearly you have neither of these, and your nationality is china. RIP

you either get educated in school or in society. your option now is the latter. based on what you wrote in the post, you are still at a loss. you are not clear of what you want with your life. its fine, since you are probably at early 20s. you will not be thinking the same reaching 30. you will start to value free time more instead of looking at income only, what type of people you are associating with from work, and miss your family, friends, etc..

Sad truth about europe: Refugees get more money than the normal working class. ( payed rent, education and other possibilites the government offers included) Worked for the german government for many years before being self-employed. So getting your own house without having studied is not realistic without luck, good contacts or you buy an old hut in the middle of nowhere.
