ok, i didn't break full keyboard, otherwise I would immediatly buy other one. So, yeah, my keyboard was living its 3rd year, until during game its spacebar broke. Currently I'm playing with a wheel as a jump, it's not unreal, but extremely uncomfortable. My keyboard is madcatz c.y.b.o.r.g v7, I'm looking for a new budget keyboard before 130$. I found logitech g413, do u think I should buy it, or something different?

logitech g413 is fine keyboard i have it since 1 year but you should definitly get it below 100€ like i got it on sale for 70€ i guess should be easy possible to get below 100.

in markets it's already before 100$, in mine it costs 90$, but I'll buy a new keyboard only next month, or later, will wait for sale

Mouse wheel is what many players use since ancient times for bunnyhopping. It makes easier to hit the right timing to jump, because rolling wheel sends a stream of +jump-jump commands, when holding down a keyboard key just registers as single +jump until you let it go.

I play not only cs go, so it's not really comfortable in most games

Anything that one is not used to yet is uncomfortable. That said, it can require repositioning grip to reach the scroll. That's why I changed from peace sign grip to 1-3-1 grip.
2019-03-19 16:57
I played always with 1-3-1 grip, cuz I have a bind on mouse3, also it's a lot more comfortable to me
2019-03-19 16:58
That's good, you can get used to it easily then. I remember first day I was practicing with 1-3-1 grip, it felt like my aiming is all wrong. Second day much better and by third day more or less ok, other than residual discomfort that continued forward due to still having muscle memory from my old grip lingering. It's similiar story when changing keybinds for other things. Changing backwards key to alt to give myself option to counterstrafe straigth and diagnoal movement, binding keys for different nades, binding keys for different weapons in Quake Champions(yes, played that crap for few months), changing scoreboard from tab to caps lock, etc. It's always very uncomfortable at first, but it's just a matter of time to get used to. Regardless I've been considering buying logitech g413 at some point when thinking aobut buying mechanical keyboard, but I won't have time to get serious on gaming at least for until middle of this year.

don't get any of the brand names like Razer, Corsair, Logitech: keyboards that pro csgo players use. Get a real mechanical keyboard like the Leopold FC750, Filco Touchstone 2, Durgod k320, Ducky Skyline/Midnight, Pok3r Vortex, iKBC MF87, Ducky One 2 TKL, KBP v80

Why? First, how are branded keyboards not real mechanical keyboards? Why would the other brands be the real mechanical keyboards? Makes no sense.
2019-03-19 17:30
cause their quality is not as good as these serious brands. Although I do have a Razer Huntsman Elite and I love it...
2019-03-19 18:27
How does beign known brand equates to lower quality? Seems that you're just lumping every popular brand together while cherrypicking decent products from less known brands.

There frame is more solid, less plastic, weighs more, the stabilizers are probably better. PBT keycaps. The sound you hear when the switch bottoms out. The feeling is palpable when typing on a Leopold instead of like a Corsair or Logitech
