I'm 5"2 and I want to stop doing muscle exercises because I'll look weird if my muscles are bigger than they are now. What should I do now? Im still fat btw.

How long and which one
2019-03-19 23:36
Do cardio when you are fat. Go on diet and start weight training with under 20% body fat

start losing fat??!?
2019-03-19 23:34
Can't just lose fat when im doing hiit every day and eating with little calories and I haven't got thinner.
2019-03-19 23:35
If you are stressing your body out by not eating enough it will have the opposite effect and it will start to compensate by 'adding fat to the storage for future use' Do yoga/meditation and eat balanced
2019-03-19 23:57
I do headspace. Does that count?
2019-03-20 00:00
Whatever makes you a more happy and peaceful person inside your own skin without being a detriment to others counts :)

If im depressed, does it affect my weight?
2019-03-20 00:02
Metabolism can be affected by alot of things. Chakra 3 and 5 have to do with metabolism. Mostly #3 Try doing meditations on it. Chakra #3 is connected to energy that helps with with discipline, happiness, metabolism and 'no mind' states. What kind of diet are you on. I recommend a plant based diet to lose excess fat as long as theres enough brocolli and spinach to compensate for proteins and iron
2019-03-20 00:05
I just eat cereal for breakfast, A sandwich, a granola bar and popcorn for lunch. Dinner is whatever my mum makes but i always eat one bowl.
2019-03-20 00:08
I would switch that up if i were you and throw in some more veggies/fruits etc. Back when i was working out all that wheat/corn stuff would just push my sugar levels up and they dropped quite fast without some fiber etc or food with more substance. Try some oatmeal with peanuts/almonds/ chopped apples etc for breakfast see how the gut feeling is for you :p

What are your numbers in squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press?
2019-03-19 23:36
40kg squats 25kg bench deadlift i don't do overhead press 25kg each 12 reps
2019-03-19 23:37
You mean in total like you squat 40kg, is it 10kg each side plus the bar (10+10+20=40) or is it 40kg on each side?
2019-03-19 23:40
In total, im not that strong xd
2019-03-19 23:40
Then no way you are too big or even close to big enough even at 5"2 feet. Honestly I would do some basic beginner program like starting strength or stronglifts 5x5 these programs get you lifting heavier for less repetitions and try to get you strong. You might not think you really want to be that strong now but when you see your numbers going up every training session you will likely fall in love with the progression. I would also eat in a slight calorie deficit because since you´re still a beginner you can still lose fat and gain muscle and strength pretty easily. This is the best advice I can give.

You think your muscles are too big yet you bench 25kg x12? That's literally the bar with 2.5kg on each side.
2019-03-19 23:54
yes but im really short and I think if my muscles get bigger, Ill look like an idiot. Also i only bench 25 because i dont want to hurt myself because i have no friends to help me if i drop it.

A lot of bodybuilders are quite short. Not 5'2, but like 5'6, and they look fine. Muscle insertions actually tend to be better on smaller guys. I doubt you can hurt yourself with anything under 60kg, you can literally roll that shit off your chest worst case scenario. Just slowly increase the weight every training session. 12 reps is a lot, I'd say go for 6-8.
2019-03-19 23:59
How many sets?

Well since you're on a low weight I'd recommend doing 5x5. If you google it you can find more information about it. Basically you do 5x5 and increase the weight by 2.5kg every week. If you fail you try the same weight again next week. But you shouldn't fail for the first couple of months.
2019-03-20 00:00
I will do that. Thanks rick

I bench by myself..if you fail a rep and can't complete just roll it onto your hips then what its flat on the bench you can stand up and take the weight off

Do a 2 or 3 day dry fast without any traning. After that go with some water with electrolytes (salt, baking powder, etc.) and start with some low intensity cardio and move accordingly.
