In Paris wait for Gilet Jaune walking in CHamps Elysée its free and so amazing
Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Sacré-coeur, Triumph arch, Luxemburg garden, Tuileries garden, Louvre Museaum and all those touristic stuffs.
Famous sites in Paris (fr names) : Tour Eiffel, Cathédrale Notre Dame, Musée Grévin, Musée du Louvre, Arc de Triomphe .. actually there are many places to see it depends on what you're looking for..
I hope for you that you don't expect to visit Paris on saturday, because there are "yellow jackets" putting fire everywhere and fighting with cops.
In Troyes you can visit the cathedral and some churches. There is also the historical downtown with traditionnal houses
Frenchie here I just have my flag in the wrong way so what's your problem?
Paris isn't at its finest right now with the protests but hopefully you can enjoy your trip.
I agree with pretty much everything that's been said here but I'd add a trip to the chatelet and the part of the city around it, and a trip to the old town in troyes.
imagine being from Troyes OmegaLUL go to reims, it's better

dont go to paris, filled with bad odor and africans
Go on "Champs Elysées" saturday. It's the place to be every saturday.
Don't go to troyes , go to reims
And in Paris you can go to the "Château de Versailles" , you can visit Paris famous places like "La tour eiffel" , "Trocadéro" "Champs-Elysées" (not saturday) , "Arc de triomphe" , "Louvre" , "Jardin des tuileries" etcc.. search on google because there isn't only famous places to go , you can do shopping also , you can go to "Jardin du Luxembourg" "Palais Garnier" there is a lot of things to do search on google
take a least 1/2 day just walking in paris center on your own ( Ile st Louis, ile de la cité, marais...) without any Touristic guide. Lots of random buildings worth admiring. Stop to some nice Bistrot/ restaurant/ ice cream at bertillon...
Personal Tip : View of paris from Montmartre and The Eiffel tower are nice but you can also go on top of the Arc de triomphe or the Tour st jacques ( not sure it's still open ): it's very different and rly worth a try.
Only go to the champs Elysees if you go on top of the Arc, it's not worth seeing otherwise.
If you like museums... well, there's too many to list.
