North deserved it for sure, but I'm skeptical about the new economy system, North almost never had an to do an eco round, so I don't think that this system is viable, it straight out kills any chance of comeback on a 2nd half if the opponent has a big lead But still, props to North for beating Vitality

And vitality didn't really have to eco first half so what's your point

The point is that Vitality kept losing on the first half (11-4) so they stacked quite a nice loss bonus, which resets coming into the second half I still think that Vitality had a really bad T side
2019-03-21 23:05
me too. Don't like it. Instead of not being reset at all if you win 1 round after having full loss bonus you should be set down to 1900 instead of 1400. This will eliminate 1 "throw away round" whilst still having some sort of reset mechanic

Yeah that's what I was trying to say, I'm disappointed for Vitality but North played better. The new economy isn't a bad idea, just not balanced really well for now (which makes sense because it just came out) I hope Valve tweaks it soon enough, and they've been really active as of late, so hopefully we should see some changes
2019-03-21 23:10
They should tweak it the way i described. That would make the most sense IMO. That way the reset mechanic still exist but it elimates some of the "throw away rounds" from being reset

The problem here wasnt the system, but Vitality losing about 3 players everytime on their CT side, so they got reset at the most important point in the game. Hands down, Norths T-side looked strong, Vitalitys not so, they got clean-sweeped too much.
2019-03-21 23:24
Disabled haha
2019-03-21 23:00
North didn't even deserve to be invited for the ecs cup lmao

Because North is shit and didn't even qualify for the major

And so fucking what? They are clearly a team that deserved it. Who would you invite instead??
2019-03-21 23:04
A team that actually qualified for the major maybe how about that?
2019-03-21 23:05
+1
2019-03-21 23:13
north is the most inconsistent team in the world
2019-03-21 23:13
consistently bad though, they are either bad or REALLY bad

Now say that without crying. They beat vp, avangar and vitality. Is that all luck?? And they won that ICE tourney against navi not a long time ago
2019-03-21 23:15
most tournaments before a major are moot, you can’t really put too much weight into those. (see: ibp masters and dh stockholm)
2019-03-21 23:16
You are saying this as if it was an achievement to beat vp, avangar and vitality
2019-03-21 23:16
that’s all they needed to do to qualify for this event though you can’t just say they dont deserve it if they climbed up the brackets to qualify for the event.
2019-03-21 23:18
They didn't climb up anywhere, the teams from last ecs season were automatically invited

Well if those team deserve an invite then north sure as hell does too. And how is beating avangar and vitality not good?
2019-03-21 23:18
Avangar with a stand-in and Vitality is just bad. North were just lucky thatthe actual good teams are playing Blast Pro at the moment

Good eu teams @ blast rn. Astralis. Nip and ence are same level as north
2019-03-21 23:24
You are too biased to see how dumb this comment was, I'll just let you be happy that North qualified and live along

hahah you're dumber than dumber, Jesus Christ. I don't even support north.

Denmark lulgod
There is no way you can't see how stupid you are. 0/8. With your shit logic, teams who does not attend major would never have a chance to make it anywhere. They played a qualifier, and won. You still cry
2019-03-21 23:30
You are saying North is as good as Nip and Ence, at this point you are just completely delusional.
2019-03-21 23:34

 |
Denmark lulgod
Ence had ONE good run, that's all. What have they done other than that. And for NIP they dont quite achieve anything either
2019-03-21 23:39
So not qualifing for the major is on the same level as qualifying for the major playoffs?
2019-03-21 23:41
#56
 |
Denmark lulgod
No that's one tournament. And the qualifier was so stacked and north almost made It through. One game away. They did better than mouz whom were considered a top 5 team at that point
2019-03-21 23:43
Cya at the minor
2019-03-21 23:36
Ah there we go, as soon as delusional fans are out of arguments, they get personal

It is okay to be happy that your danish team did something, but don't act like North is a good team

Denmark lulgod
I don't even support north but the shit you say is plain stupid. So only the teams who attended the major is allowed to play in other tournaments??? And then why don't you complain about mousesports or VP getting an invite. salty loser.
2019-03-21 23:25
I did not say that those teams deserved the invite, you just made things up in your head
2019-03-21 23:26
#42
 |
Denmark lulgod
Well they have to fill out the invites, then who would you pick when all the major teams gets an invite? no one, because who attended the major should decide who gets to play in a qualifier
2019-03-21 23:28
Do you know how the invite system works? All the teams from last season of ECS were invited. But they should not have reserve 6 spots for invite teams, but rather 50/50 invite teams and qualifier teams or something
2019-03-21 23:32
#46
 |
Denmark lulgod
IF they had qualifier teams, north would just qualify through there anyway
2019-03-21 23:33
You mean like they qualified for the major? Oh right, they didn't. Well, maybe like they qualified for IEM Sydney? Oh right, they didn't qualify for that either.

 |
Denmark lulgod
Are you fucking dumb? of course they didnt qualify for Sydney since they forfeit before the match lmaoooo so dumb.
2019-03-21 23:40
The point is that North don't qualify for tournaments, they only get to tournaments that invite them

Take a look at this retard hltv.org/events/4414/ecs-season-7-europe.. G2 have a chance of qualifying, and 5/8 teams didnt participate in the major so they don't deserve to be in a qualifier. hahahaha moron
2019-03-22 10:47
I mean they won it, so clealy they deserve it more than the others
2019-03-22 00:03
i dont like north but they obviously deserve the spot
