"just several different ones with different names in the star wars universe" Based on that, I think he heard about KOTOR, but I don't think there're any others tbh. Some games of Jedi Knight series have morale system, but I wouldn't concider that an RPG.
2019-03-22 16:33
theres also star wars the old republic which is an mmorpg, but my Point was that theres not an rpg thats simply called "star wars" thanks for your Input anyway Kind sir - the undefeated hltv Chess champion

Well, he said in another comment that he doesn't want an MMO, so I decided not to mention The Old Republic.

vampire masquerade, its quite old but still amazing one of the best RPGs ever and they just announced the second * HYPE *
2019-03-22 16:08
Thanks for the heads up - had no idea it had been announced but very much looking forward to it. As a side note, I watched the trailer and it really fucked me off that the only woman in the video is a G cup. That "art style" also really annoyed me in the original game (that being Bloodlines and not Redemption) - what the fuck - do the vampires not consider anyone with a smaller cup worthy to join their cause? Fundamentally, it is just as juvenile as all the boob armour and all the other nonsense we see in shitty RPGs.

Divinity Original Sin I and II The latter is the finest RPG I have ever played, got through it 4-5 times now. Simply breathtakingly amazing.
2019-03-22 16:11
Act 1 and 2 are amazing. 3 and 4 is meh and boring.
2019-03-22 16:34
I used to feel that way, but now that I have played the game a bazillion times I actually feel the other way around. Acts I and II are a bit of a slog and the game really picks up in Act III. Act IV has always been my favourite. I love those big city hubs.
2019-03-22 16:44
Well, I dont know. I played around launch date and felt this way. Dont know if they improved something. I kinda rushed through act iv because I was feeling burn out by the game. Maybe I got bored overall.

I wanna play DOS2 but it cost $65 normal and $42 on sale. So yeah, nope. lul
2019-03-22 16:35
Well, save some money in that case... Or just play Fallout II. Outstanding. I am currently in the process of playing through the Baldur's Gate series. It take a while to get into it, but once you get over the learning curve it is mesmerising. 70 hours and counting.
2019-03-22 16:46
DOS2 is currently 20 GBP on GOG.com; DOS is 6 GBP. Go, get 'em.

If you don't consider post-apo a sci-fi setting, then Fallout: New Vegas is the greatest RPG to ever come out and you should play it If you want something more classic, then you should try Neverwinter Nights, Gothic, Fable 1/2, Dragon's Dogma and Baldur's Gate

i've played fable 1/3 several times, one of my fav games. Also would really like to try gothic but the graphic is too outdated and yea, falout is sort of a sci-fi setting so i dont really like it

You should still try it sometime, it’s so well done I’m yet to meet an RPG enthusiast that didn’t like it
2019-03-22 16:31
I watched some reviews on the game, i really liked the concept, the music, several ways to proceed the mission, overall i liked the gameplay, but the graphic is too bad and it really sucks i cant try this game because of this. Im not that type of people that only play "next-gen" graphic games, but the game should be at least on the level ( for example) Fable Anniversary, World Of Warcraft (last three expansions WoD, Legion, BFA) in terms of graphic, otherwise its kinda unpayable id say
2019-03-22 16:36
Gothic is crack - I started playing the series when the first game originally came out and have been going back to it every once in a while since (actually still have Gothic II installed, in the middle of a playthrough I started a couple of years ago). Yes, the graphics are poor and the combat is even more clumsy, but it really gets over that hurdle with immersion and quest/world design, which is some of the best I have ever witnessed in an RPG. Even the FedEx quests don't feel like FedEx.
2019-03-22 17:11
If you want something newer but in the flair of Gothic, I would sugget ELEX. It's basically the most accurate spiritual successor to Gothic - and equally flawed and wonderful at the same time.
2019-03-22 17:15
I know ELEX, but there is one thing i don't really like is mixed setting, its something between sci-fi and medieval which is quite extraordinary for me. But i'll definitely will give a try to it

I played same games as you except kingdom come and i really enjoy new AC games Origins and Odyssey, there is a lot of witcher 3 vibes in Odyssey.
2019-03-22 16:24
odyssey has the wither 3 vibes? are u drunk? its a completely different game with completely different setting, music, gameplay
2019-03-22 16:26
"Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the series’ first entry which fully recognizes itself as an RPG, and boy does it shine as one. It’s got (potentially) hundreds of hours of content, branching narratives, fully realized characters and tons of dialogue options. Naturally, it reminded us of CD Projekt Red’s masterpiece in the genre, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Both games have a lot of similarities, and that’s not a bad thing. The developers at Ubisoft have admitted numerous times how The Witcher games have inspired them to take Assassin’s Creed into the RPG territory. " As a Witcher 3 fan i totally agree
