is a natural phenomenon that can not be stopped, humans might have slight impact on it but it's not worth investing all humans resources on. /change my mind

Yeah, I heard that their factories made air so polluted that even those fuckers dinosaurs died :/
2019-03-22 22:10
Then tell me why the average temperature is increasing continously since the Industrial age? A mere coincidences? Or what should have caused such a significant increase in the average temperature ,because there was no nature catastroph which could have caused such a increase. Over 90% of all climate Scientists are shure that climate change is created by mankind ,so why do you want to so desperately deniy it? Is it the fear of loosing you Job?

Its true. The left fails to distinguish the conservative belief that it cannot be helped and denying its existence altogether. China throws more garbage into the sea than every other nation combined. You think they give a fuck? No. People there have never even heard of climate change.
2019-03-22 21:33
what a great argument. people in china never heard of climate change so why bother doing anything about it?

Well yes. Whats the point of wasting trillions of dollars trying to prevent it when in the end countries like china are never going to do the same. Our efforts would only delay it by a short amount of time.

China is currently the largest producer and consumer of solar panels, they are transitioning off from fossil fuels faster than other countries right now. The temperature is rising faster than natural and animals and creatures are feeling it right now. Sea levels are rising and will start affecting coastal regions very soon.

A) no it's not B) theory in science basically means fact; gravity is a theory, but are you a gravity denier?
2019-03-22 22:21
mate, a theory means that is hasn't been backed up. just look at some theories like lamarck's and youll seem im correct. And it is a theory :)

Everyone knows climate change is a scam. The most ridiculous thing is when politicians that can not solve unemployment, think their policies will change the average temperature LOL
2019-03-22 21:36
It's fake.... clima change don't exist :)
2019-03-22 21:37
humans have a Pretty significant effect on it, and nobody ever wanted to "invest all ressources" on minimizing our effect… its actually more the norm to turn climatefriendly measures into an economybranch which will generate millions of Jobs and billions of Dollars... btw almost all the measures to reduce our effect on Climate Change are also measures to make the air cleaner, which is a nice "Little" side effect
2019-03-22 21:37
Depends. If it's natural phenomenon then there is hope that the climate might become cooler, but if it is 100% man made we are completely fucked (more probable tbh).
2019-03-22 21:39
+1 how can some indians burning wheels change my weather? lmao leftist
2019-03-22 21:40
Yeah average people right the whole scientist comunity from the whole globe = wrong Think with me, scientists maybe know nothing, but surely they know at least 0.99% more than people who is clueless about the subject, and just sitting their asses and complaining about stuffs.

tell that to our government :))) petrol free by 2030 is our goal, while China is building hundreds of energy plants running on coal every year, nice
2019-03-22 21:42
Even if it was not caused by humans we would still need to stop it. If it continues at this rate we would have less than 50% of current land to live on (e.g. Africa would be too dry to even think about living there). A lot of coasts would just drown and humans would have to live very closely together which would result in even more wars. If every human needed as much food as the average eats we would need more than 2.5 more earth's to support that. Now feed as many people as that on half the area :) I hope you see now that it is worth stopping or reducing it to a minimum even if humans wouldn't be responsible (which we are).

Simple things: Is climate change real? Obviously Is it a problem? Yes Can it be stopped? No Can it be slowed down? Yes Human problem? In recent decades yes. Should we spend billions just to do something about this? Hell Fucking No. We should spend a considerate amount on climate change but not over the top like lefties want to do.
2019-03-22 21:56
A billion $ is little money. E.g. The USA are spending over 600 billions $$$ for their military - for many things a reasonable army doesn't even need. The USA are also spending a lot of shit on controlling a border to reduce drug consumption instead of teaching the kids what these drugs do. There would be a lot more money to spend on the well being of our earth if the "right wing" and also the "left wing" would stop spending money on hopeless endeavours. Since it is a problem for all humanity we need to at least slow it down. Some billions won't cut it. To slow it we will need trillions (we = all countries, not just the US).
2019-03-22 22:07
I am fucking laughing when New York is under water and y'all start crying about climate Change.
2019-03-22 22:09
Lets be honest, ok? This is a complex subject. Having a solid opinion about climate change requires a TON of scientific knowledge on areas like climatology, chemistry, biology, and not only that, it also requires tons of reading on the most recent scientific studies and academic publications about it. If you don't want to spend years of your life acquiring the necessary knowledge to have a real opinion about this topic, and you also don't want to be an arrogant prick or a dumb conspiracy theorist, you should look for what real experts and specialists, people who dedicated a big portion of their lives analyzing this subject, are saying. And in this case, it's a known fact that 95% of the studies published in this area agree on the existence of human-caused global warming.

Even if climate change is real, and I have a feeling it isn't, how can we distinguish climate change from a natural warming of the Earth compared to human-made warming of the Earth?
2019-03-22 22:16
Climate is an average over 30 years of accurate measurements. How can it be fake if we have the data? We also know that our climate correlates with the amount of CO2 in our atmosphere. When I was a kid I could do skiing where ever I want. Now it isn't even save to say that there will be snow on medium high mountains. We have to assume that we are to blame since we don't have a reason to believe that climate ever changed so fast.

2019-03-22 22:35
In its Fifth Assessment Report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a group of 1,300 independent scientific experts from countries all over the world under the auspices of the United Nations, concluded there's a more than 95 percent probability that human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet. source - climate.nasa.gov/causes/
