worse than a 16-2 in the 3rd map ?

Tbh the ence vs liquid match should have had an OT. Not just saying this cause Im an ence fan. That match determined the final spot. Too important spot to be given from a tie match..

I mean, if you're trying to bash Liquid based on the 16-2 result in a 3rd map you should reconsider the validation of such bash. Liquid at least took away a map from Astralis. Did ENCE win a map against Astralis? iirc it was 16-4 already in 2nd map right?
2019-03-24 02:23
Liquid is good for 1 map against Astralis usually, ENCE=0

But ENCE faced Astralis in LAN once while Liquid had more to offer, time will tell what ENCE can do , but they are strong team and they dont depend on fluke

not bashing liquid but this is a different tournament and im sure ence could have taken a map from Astralis.. im super curious how overtime between liquid and ence would've gone

clearly not liquid. mibr an fnatic had close matchups. na'vi even won cologne by beating astralis. liquid won only shitty ibp masters against them. before it was not even close. and now we can see that ibp was a fluke

Oh ok. But why were the so many Astralis-Liquid finals? If the other teams are better than Liquid why didn't they qualify to grand-finals?

cus they deserved those finals good team until when it matters. liquid won only summit, ibp masters and weird t3 tournament in 1 year. those aren't legit events. ence played only few tournaments and have the same amount of trophies. choking is hard. they can't convert those. reminds me of old tsm/astralis lineup with their semi-final runs. they lost to mouz in ESL NY finals, lost to NRG in StarSeries finals, choked hard at majors. favorites that never win.
2019-03-24 12:35
And you think if it was Astralis Liquid in major finals it would have bee nany different? These two tournaments are very different, yo ucant compare the results in them. Besides Astralis didnt clearly play as dominant or focused cs as they did in the major
