Australia vs New Zealand

What are the pros and cons of each country? And where do you think people are more amiable towards immigrants? I fond of both countries (although I’ve never been to any of them due to lack of money) and I was curious if there is a big difference between them? I mean they’re kinda close to each other and have the same climate (correct me if I’m wrong). So I’ve been thinking about moving there (not in the near future). In several years maybe, once I start earning decent money and establish my income. Currently I live in a small Russian city with no opportunities and it’s been one of my strongest desires to move out. I’m unable to do that just for now but hopefully everything will work out in the future. Perhaps some of you already had the pleasure of visiting both countries or even successfully immigrating there so don’t hesitate to share your experience.

Isn't her government struggling to provide the 10k houses they claimed they would build? There was also a scandal with one of the minister giving money to people he had ties with. She cut immigration and promised to deal with homelessness and the housing issue but doubled the refugee quota. She also wasted her time with the Manus Island refugees without addressing the problem.

Majority of those who recognize it only took almost one hundred years... unlike Uruguay and Cypress. And even then, western governments who actually acknowledge it are majority EU who only do so, in order to block Turkeys investiture into the EU... but I digress... UK, US, Australia do not formally acknowledge it. A few states and political parties do, but our nation's do not. New Zealand unequivocally do not acknowledge it. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_Genocid..

Hell yea, Australian politics is the biggest pile of dogshit
2019-03-26 04:39
Australia is better in almost all stats. Cons is our poor internet (It's actually fine but if you stay at home all day everyday I can see it being a problem since FTTN is very unstable), unstable leadership (still better than NZ's leadership) & for immigrants Australia is not as tolerant as NZ right now. Don't know what kind of opportunities you plan to find in New Zealand but good luck with that.
2019-03-25 00:02
How much do you pay for internet per month?
2019-03-25 09:34
Depends really. Normally $50-$70 AUD per month.
2019-03-25 10:02
With low speed?
2019-03-26 00:08
Depends on the area again. But speeds can be as low as 2mbps in some areas. In my area it’s 20-30mbps. Fastest I’ve seen is 100mbps.

Feelsbad bro. In Finland everybody have limitless 4g with 100mbs even in our phones :D
2019-03-26 15:01
Depends on what plan you get and the ISP of course. I can only tell you about the one I'm getting which is 100/40 Unlimited no contract for $100aud/month. That's once I get FTTN NBN which is a hybrid solution the stupid liberals have made to combine ADSL copper wires with fibre wires. Right now at this moment I have ADSL2+ Unlimited which I'm paying $60 for. Speeds I get are 15/1. 10/0.5 on average. The guy above me is referring to slower speed plans but he's correct because that's what the average Australian likely has and pays. Very few people are lucky to have cable (like the guy who replied to me) which is much better value than any of NBN broadband plans.

Australia has more job opportunities, better weather, nicer beaches, stronger economy, better education, higher standard of living, and better healthcare. It is also much more urbanised if you want to live in a big city New Zealand is cheaper, has better internet, more stable government, more beautiful forests and mountains, and can be easier to migrate to. Both are very welcoming countries and both will provide a great life, the one you pick just depends on what you consider to be more important for yourself.

Both countries have really good beaches so it's not an easy choice but Aus's beaches are better. That is indeed 'my opinion'.
2019-03-26 04:32
In my opinion New Zealand has more Beautiful beaches, (my opinion) Im not saying Australias doesnt. But Australia only has Gold coast, and a Few more. While New Zealand has Coromandel (Cathedral Cove), Ngamotu beach, Fitzroy, Maitai Bay, Ninety Mile Beach, Piha Beach, Mt Maunganui.... So on
2019-03-26 04:57
Gold coast, sunshine coast, Sydney's bondi and manly, Newcastle's Mereweather and Nobbys, Nelson bay's One mile and Boat harbour, Adelaide's Glenelg, Melbourne's st kilda and Brighton, Perths cottesloe, Kangaroo island as a whole.. etc Australia definitely has more amazing beaches then just the gold coast.
2019-03-26 05:13
Okay, I never said Only Gold Coast. But im saying we have better beaches
2019-03-26 06:21
Gold coast, and a Few more. thats what u said. A few more? sunshine coast, Sydney's bondi and manly, Newcastle's Mereweather and Nobbys, Nelson bay's One mile and Boat harbour, Adelaide's Glenelg, Melbourne's st kilda and Brighton, Perths cottesloe, Kangaroo island as a whole. that aint a few more buddy.
2019-03-26 06:47
And that's only the beaches near major cities, there are so many even more amazing ones if you're willing to head out into the less explored areas of the coastline. Nearly every beach around the Great Australian Bite is gorgeous.
2019-03-26 06:53
yeah and i love the beaches up near javas bay. i used to live along calala beach i think it was called from memory and it was bloody amazing.
2019-03-26 06:58
But when did I say Gold Coast was the only one Ha buddy.
2019-03-26 07:04
the other guy said that not me. but u did say a few more. a few would mean three or four, but no more than this. definition of few. australia as way more amazing beaches then just a few more. i think u really know nothing about us buddy
2019-03-26 07:43
I dont think you know what a few more means aswell, buddy
2019-03-26 07:44
legit just sent u the definition of a few. but yeah ur right even though i told u the definition i definitely dont know the definition a few. how many australian beaches have u even been to in person?
2019-03-26 07:46
none, but as I said its my opinion that NZ beaches are better, but off course you are Australian so you don't have a brain

2019-03-28 02:30

2019-03-28 02:35
i didnt say I lived in nz for quarter of my life so im half kiwi. i said actually im half kiwi u idiot and i spent a good quarter of my life there. ur so fucking retarded and i dont want to go any further either buddy.
2019-03-28 02:37
Okay, but you pretty much said that. I tried to be nice to you, you fucking retard but obviously youre not half nz if youre calling us retards when youre from aussie
2019-03-28 02:47
calling us retards? i said ur a retard and last time i checked u didnt represent the whole country. i didnt basically say that either. anyone with the proper common sense would know that what i was meaning but not u i guess. anyways there is no point in u replying because i keep debunking u. just go have an early night sleep and think about how what u are saying is dumb.

NZ reporting in. Im only 16 so I cant comment on evvvverything but from the looks of it NZ is where I wanna stay. Nice, reasonable cities with decent opportunities (although more opportunities in Aus). We have like fuck all dangerous animals/bugs, our climate is way less hot, EG wellington is usually 18 degrees celcius with a bit of a breeze. Theyre both very similar but NZ is better imo. Melbourne would be perfect if all the gang refugees would be deported. It used to be the best city in the world until they came along. Kind of sad that the refugees are ruining the city for everyone - including the immigrants who worked off their ass to get here and work instead of mugging people on the streets like the refugees do.
