Plastic MIBR Fans & People overrating FURIA
 |
Yugoslavia stream9_1_major_chokeclan_0
Brazil fans -> Plastic fans MIBR shits the bed and suddenly a bunch of brazilians turn into FURIA fans and start posting shit like "FURIA > MIBR", not only are threads/comments like these completly delusional, but they also go to show how fake BR fans are. Yeah sure, FURIA has been doing well vs tier2 teams. TIER 2 TEAMS. Even though MIBR played like garbage, they played like garbage vs TIER1 TEAMS. If you actually think that FURIA > MIBR then you're just another plastic BR fan or just simply dumb.
2019-03-25 02:28
that's your opinion.
2019-03-25 02:29
MIBR is ranked above FURIA and is also playing vs better opponents, not sure how you'd counter this.

Funny how you apply an single attitude to a entire number of supporters. It happens to every god dam team at every single place. It is not a br problem, it happens when some fake fans can not handle a loss situation.
2019-03-25 02:33
Ok cool, If I was talking about other teams then I'd change the title. Sure you can argue that not all fans are like this, which I agree, but this title gets more clicks.

But it is better this way, because the cry babys who can't stand a hard situation go away. Those are the worst for the scenario. Don't you agree with that?
2019-03-25 02:36
The issue is that those cry babies don't really go away. They just start supporting another team.

Yeah, now they are going to support Furia.
2019-03-25 19:32
I agree, brazilians are the biggest plastic fans. Many of them remove their mibr flair when they play bad. It's really sad to see.
2019-03-25 02:34
Thats why im already FURIA + KSCERATO Kappa
2019-03-25 02:38
You were a mibr fan a few days ago, i remember xD
2019-03-25 02:39
xD shhhhh
2019-03-25 02:41
At least they stop spamming stupid shit about them for a moment
2019-03-25 19:43
They gonna start spamming "MIBR TOP1" threads after mibr beat PANDA in SSL

But FURIA is indeed in a better form than MIBR. There is no shame in admiting that.
2019-03-25 02:37
MIBR would beat FURIA any day of the week.

Probably, I am not saying FURIA is a better team, I said they are in a better form, and that is probably due to facing low tier teams. That is just it.
2019-03-25 02:38
Fair point. I guess that's what's making alot of people switch flairs.

Probably, people will always try to root for winners. I support all brazilian teams in every tournament they are, but my heart belongs to MIBR and its core.

Respect. Loyalty is a rare thing these days.

Indeed it is. But that does not mean I cannot root for other brazilian teams, right? FURIA is playing right now, I am watching and I am rooting for them. Hope they qualify.
2019-03-25 02:41
Yeah for sure, you can root for other teams. What bothers me is the bad kind of fans who just switch teams and start talking shit about the team they previously supported. IMO, that's just scummy.

Ah, agree with you, absolutely. I guess people like that don't care for teams for real, they care about being at the "top", even if the "top" is winning against lower teams. You know? So you can brag about winning.
2019-03-25 02:45
Yeah, I feel you. These kinds of people end up making the team they support look bad, since most of them also end up bragging & shit talking. It's a shame to see that kind of supporters around.

Yes, it is a shitty behavior that affects all teams in almost all competitive e-sports. I cannot imagine myself or any other people who support my football club switching teams, that is so absurd, but that happens in e-sports, don't know exactly why.
2019-03-25 02:49
I guess that if you went around switching football clubs every 2 days, people IRL wouldn't really give you that much respect. But since you're anonymous on the internet, people can just switch teams whenever they want without any kind of repercussion.

How so? Furia didn't play the same teams mibr played, how can you say they are better based on their NA online results lol

FORM is based on results If mibr played against these NA trash teams you would say the have GREAT FORM

Exactly, but they don't, so FURIA is in a better form. Thanks for agreeing with me.

Which does prove my point. FURIA is in a better form, no matter who they are facing, they are winning. Again, I am not saying MIBR is a worse team, I am just saying that since they got rekt recently, gives the impression that they are in a bad form, which makes people conclude FURIA is in a better form. I never said FURIA would win, never said they are a better team, I just said they are recently winning more than MIBR.
2019-03-25 02:51
i can agree with that reasoning

Thank you sir. We'll have to wait to see what happens when FURIA faces teams like NIP, FaZe, ENCE, Liquid, Na'Vi. Then we can see what they are really made of. I don't mention Astralis because, well, lately, no none can beat them, so there's no reason to even mention hehe.
2019-03-25 02:54
Does FURIA play EPL? It starts in a few days and we might see them facing Liquid and mibr to get some first impressions against top teams.

I really don't know whether they play or not, I guess not. I would like to see them in StarSeries against FaZe, MIBR, ENCE, North, NIP, Na'Vi, BIG, Renegades, fnatic... I don't really know what are their next events.

Brazilians cheer for any team that does represent as a country. Always has been this way, when g3x was a monster it had a huge fan base, same goes to MiBR, Luminosity, SK and now FURIA.
2019-03-25 02:38
FURIA isn't even the best brazilian team, how does it represent the country? I guess it represents the country vs tier 2 teams?
2019-03-25 02:39
tier 3 teams *
2019-03-25 02:43
A few days earlier, during the major you could verify how BRs were spamming furia threads all over. It doesn't matter if Furia or MiBR is the best team, if a Brazilian team plays an international championship they will have a full support/hate depending on their performance. Besides, MiBR ain't really a BR team nowadays, they just have BR players.
2019-03-25 02:53
Yeah but at that time people were supporting both teams, now it feels like they just shit on MIBR and support FURIA.
2019-03-25 02:52
If your expecting from Brazilians to actually support their players and teams then you should know better. We are a bunch of angry bosses that value results over all. Isn't a CS thing, its cultural. That's why we are so sensitive with 7x1 jokes, its like being humiliated.
