imo its opera as you can pop out videos and keep watching while doing other stuff, it has built in ad block (not that good but it stops ads before videos) and has a built in vpn. what browser do you think is the best?

2019-03-25 22:35
Cant compare But it have many features that i guess another browsera like opera have much later. Its on chrome engine, might be heavy. Problem is that you need to do some shit with VPN in other browsers which dont have turbo mode from opera. That's why i use this browser.

For Streaming Media, Firefox has been the way to go since the recently updated their platform. I used to use Chrome for everything, but it has been lagging audio on streaming sites like netfilx and hulu even on a Fiber connection. Once I switched to Firefox I have had no issues with audio latency. I've heard good things about Opera, which I will probably start to use if Firefox starts having issues.

It's like Chrome, but it doesn't eat lots of ram, has build-in ad-blocker and tracker-blocker, and you can contribute to sites and content creators with it using BAT tokens as you don't see any ads, which is a very good idea imo.
2019-03-27 01:41

What's that? (u mean it's better than adblock?)
2019-03-27 11:42
Adblock is the honda civic of adlbockers. Ublock origin is the lambo. also try extensions like dark reader(night mode every website), and imagus (hover images to expand them without clicking)

Opera or Firefox, I switch between these two. Because they are the best
2019-03-25 22:53
Every browser is spyware Chrome sends everything you do to USA spyware.neocities.org/articles/chrome.ht.. Opera sends everything you do to China (better china have your history than US) spyware.neocities.org/articles/opera.htm.. Firefox gives all your data to SJWs unless you edit the config only then is it safe spyware.neocities.org/articles/firefox.h.. Brave is a bit better but still spies on you. Has good Ram conservation though spyware.neocities.org/articles/brave.htm.. Ungoogled chromium, GNU icecat, iridium, and Pale moon dont spy and send all your data away

2019-03-25 23:00
Lol you think we care if they see our porn searches and other shit that we search?
2019-03-27 11:17
you dont now but maybe in 20 years you want to go into politics and then your searches for granny porn with horses from 20 years ago turn up in the newspaper because you sad something bad about some american or russian company...
2019-03-27 11:36
that wont happen if our data becomes public the company gets sued for a shit ton of money. And if the data did get leaked nobody would still know because a lot of data would be leaked then and nobody knows who is using whos computer
2019-03-27 11:54
following this guide: spyware.neocities.org/guides/firefox.htm.. will not stop you from being spied on. browsers transmit configuration options to websites, making changes to default settings means you can be more easily identified. not transmitting that information also makes you stand out more. using a browser even less mainstream than firefox also makes you stand out more. your best bet for not being spied on atm is microsoft edge with all telemetry on default. because then you dont stand out. also if youre putting this much effort into your web browser im really wondering what OS you use.
2019-03-27 11:37
1.5 yrs ago i was using chrome but dunno why i switched to opera, probably just to see the differences. I expected it to be a shitty browser, I was left wordless bcs it is like 20x better in everything than chrome. VPN, Turbo mode, ad block, no need for 16gb ram to work fine, and so on so on

Vivaldi, Chromium based but you can get rid of the round corners on everything, plus some neat features for studying such as tiles.

you can pop out any html5 video in any browser by retrieving the URL of the video and pasting that in the URL bar in a new window. on twitch, if you can get the file name of the block of a vod, you can even download it without any addons.
