You can get much smaller and cheaper power supply.
2019-03-26 09:41
I'd go for faster memory and if you're spending that much on a pc I'd get a custom waterloop. And I'd spend some extra on cable cases and such to make it look nicer

Faster memory? Like 8x8gb 4000mhz ram? 😛
2019-03-26 09:47
Well in most games it won't really make a diffrence to have that fast ram but I know some games where it does and yes if you're already spending this much on a pc I'd go for some really fast atleast 3800mhz ram

Aight thanks. Thought 32gb 3200mhz would be enough anyways which it is 😁

Honestly, not much to criticize on that rig. What I would change: - CPU is a matter of money. 9900k might be a bit over the top. 9700k will do the same job for less money and even might overclock better. - AiO cooler is a matter of choice. If you are going to overclock, by all means go for a good AiO. I still prefer a good classic cooler (like top of the line noctuas) for anything but the overclocking rig. Also, unless you really know what you're doing and are an enthusiast, for custom design waterloop cooling. It's not worth the fuss for anything but hardcore overclockers. - As for RAM, I'd rather go for 2x16 kit rather than 4x8. Also, when dishing out for computer that much, be sure to pick better SKU. 3200 MHz is fine but pick stick with lower latencies (cl timings). Or go for a model with higher MHz rated model. - PSU is a bit of an overkill. That's not a bad thing by any means, but 850 W would do the same job for less money. - I would definitely look into a better case for that kind of rig.

- i also need the cpu for video editing/rendering so im happy to invest like 100bucks more on that one. -idk i just heard watercooling is better and quieter. will do more research later on. -where do i see latencies? i could also go for 2x16 36mhz or 4000mhz. or 4x16 whateverMhz. which do you suggest? - yeah thought about 850 but then decided for 1000 incase i will add more hardware later on. (even tho 850 is already by far enough) -i just randomly picked a case from the website. i dont really care how it looks like. which do you suggest would be good? (maybe one that is quiet.. well this one isnt really important since i use bose quiet comfort35 as a headset (noice-cancelling))

If its not activated theres this annoying watermark and other features also disabled. Besides, you can find legit copies for like $3 on ebay. Tons of people selling keys.
2019-03-26 09:56
Why wouldn't he? He gets a legit copy of windows and no dumb logo in the corner, imagine spending 3k on a pc and not paying for windows LOL

2019-03-26 14:55
Not bad essentially the same as mine, just slower ram, different AIO and a higher Wattage PSU, does me fine for gaming and 3D rendering.
2019-03-26 14:57
Take NZXT Aio cooler instead of that Corsair (personal experience). You are fine with 850w RM series PSU and if you want to save lil more -> go with EVGA gtx2080. Ofc you don't need i9 if you are not doing heavy editing etc but if you have the money, why not? Then just my own opinion: Fractal C tg/meshify/s2 > NZXT h500i But looks nice.

If this is not bait, i would buy windows of ebay or something, costs like 5$ instead of 150. If you don't plan on using wifi get the z390-f instead. Maybe get a 280m aio instead of 240 (if your case supports it) And get the 970 evo plus instead of pro, as it's cheaper and faster. Getting memory with lower CAS latency. And get a PSU with a lower wattage. 750 is more than enough.
2019-04-06 22:46
never get an z390-F or z390H, they are shit compared to z390E

Same amount and quality of VRM, same memory support etc. It's basically the same board except it doesn't have wifi, only has 1 m2 heatsink, only support gen1 front panel connectivity and doesn't include a shitty heatsink fan that most people won't use. Calling it shit in comparison just isn't right between the E and F model.
