if you train arms, remove all triceps exercise and do only dips with weight 5x5 2 weeks, than 1 week with no weight 5x1rep sill failure, than repeat it will boost you triceps strength = more you will bench and deadlift

My 1 leg is like 2cm shorter than the other, I cannot find the proper balance deadlifting as I cannot keep my spine right, same with squats. (it's my upper leg so standing on something won't help, because if you bend the leg 45 degrees, it would push my shorter leg to be HIGHER and disbalances me even more). No deadlifterinos for me :(

did you try the smith machine? should help you as you dont have to balance the bar. Edit: One of the trainers in my gym has the same issue and he uses it and works well for him.

Nope that is a mistake i really early learned to get around. But my knees surely arent behind my toes when im all the way down. Now with squatting many opinions are around if this should be considered a mistake/harmfull, same should most likely apply for deadlifting. But from what i've read it isn't as bad a people thought back in the day.

Seems more like her core is well developed which indeed widens the waist. You could say that core focused workouts and heavy compound exercises promote that, but as long as you are lean there is no problem. Slim waist is more of a feminine body configuration anyway(talking about us).

Back in the gym after a year out and just creeping back in slowly, doing 100kg 6 reps after 4 weeks. I tend to drop the amount of reps to 3-4 when I go higher than 120kg. Not a big fan of deadlift but it's a must if you want to make some gains. I put a lot of fat on over that year (had my first baby), currently 84kg (I was 91kg at my worst last year) - 5ft7.5" - probably between 18-20%bf at the moment I'd guess.

Deadlift is the most overrated exercise ever, if you are not going to compete in pl competition any time soon then you are wasting your time with deadlifts. It doesn't develop muscles as much as other thing in gym do. legs - squats back - barbell row chest - incline bench Deadlift is just nowhere near.

Yeah, it's almost fully healed. They did something called a spinal fusion, basically putting in steel rods to stabilize the spine. I just had surgery to remove the hardware, so I'm healing from that now. I can do most of the stuff (probably low weight deadlift as well) but I don't see a point in risking anything.

Pro tip if you're trying to max on DL, do decently big jumps and don't waste energy trying 180kg first etc just straight 160kg (one rep) - > 200kg or something along those lines.

I couldn't move past 150kg until I bought some proper gym wear from ryderwear.com.au . With appropriate straps I found out that my grip strength was seriously lacking, try it out if you haven't already.
