Beat Astralis
 |
Sweden MakeSwedenGreatAgain
What team do you think have it in them to beat Astralis? Personally I think ence have hit their ceiling and even with +sunny they can't really get much better. Team Liquid can do it, and even have done it but in alot of ways they just seem like a roster which actually have better more skilled players than Astralis but just aren't nearly as good at their fundamentals. I think liquid are the most likely but I don't know what they need to be able to do it. Na'vi I don't think can do it. CIS has a bunch of really good players but aslong as they have both Edward and zeus on their roster they won't be able to do it and I don't think there is players nin the CIS region that actually are much better at IGL as zeus. I would like to see what would happen if simple played in Liquid or FaZe. And FaZe without simple will never be able to do it they need a real IGL and somebody that can put Nikos ego in place.

Yeah I would really wanna see that I think that would probably the most skilled lineup we have ever seen in CSGO even better than current liquid and Faze

s1mple. he was so toxic that liquid almost disband :) and that's no bullshit, I saw a documentary about that :) mb s1mple changed for now idk, but back then he was a really big problem :)
2019-04-04 11:02
nothing new is that s1mple is toxic. But he wasnt kicked from TL or something like thar. He left when his visa has expired. He said like few months before he will not renew a visa and he will continuing his career in cis team bcoz he missed his family and friends. Anyway TL knew that and they had time to find replacement. As i know, they had internal problems after cologne and that wasnt bcoz of s1mple only

If you remember, EliGE and s1mple really don't like each other. Adding him today won't change anything. EliGE even today doesn't really like when people on his stream ask him about him and s1mple.

you beat astralis with tactics not raw power
2019-04-04 09:19
Yes I agree that raw power isn't enough if that were the case then liquid would beat them everytime but at the same time Astralis are playing as close to perfect CS as we have ever seen and at the same time have a more skilled roster than ence it just seems like ence could become a really good top 3 team it's just the last step to get on the same level as astralis I just have a really hard time seeing them cross
2019-04-04 09:22
Astralis and ence are almost equal skillwise. Now with Vertigo in the map pool thia might be very interesting to see

Im not trying to be rude, but thats not true at all :P Allu < Device Dupreeh > Aerial Sergej <<< Magisk sergej is good but too young and inconsistant imo Aleksib < gla1ve xseven < xyp9x clutch king, and best supporter in the world, clutch and nade wise Im not a blind fanboy btw, but ence wins on teamplay not on skill, and when they all play good they could take any team, like most teams can, dont think ence was a fluke, they play good fundamental cs, but astralis are just fucking insane atm :P
2019-04-04 13:13
sergej isnt really inconsistent its ences map pool thats in consistent. Also i respect the way you are approaching and not being like "lul fakin virgin ass ence fan blind gay xdDDD". Also xseven is in really good form and i think if he keeps this up hes close to xyp9x performance

Easiest side of the ladder? What the fuck. They had to play the number 2 ranked team and then the number 3 ranked team. Also faze was on that side of the bracket and lost convincingly to NaVi
2019-04-04 11:03
"Easier side" Ence played against liquid and navi (Faze lost to navi) and i say this completely unbiased since faze and ence are my fav teams. Ence is in better form and is better than faze currently
2019-04-04 13:45
Hello, im here just to mention that Faze won Blast, and i dont know if ence even took a part in this event. Have a good day fanboys.

just baiting fanboyz, anyway i am prophet smh xD i see in this team(faze) so much potential, its hard to create squad where all players are from same country so its good for ence perform well
2019-04-16 00:18
+1 noone beside ez4ence fanboys will talk about them in like 2 months from now on. 1 fluke major and that's it.
2019-04-05 09:44
This comment didn't age well :)
2019-05-13 19:21
Realistically it should be FaZe. But with the way everyone is playing it's impossible to beat them unless they underperform massively like that one time FaZe beat them 3-0...
2019-04-04 09:19
with current lineup and niko as an igl? no freaking way...especially with adren and olof in his current form
2019-04-04 09:47
If NiKo was in his god mode , guardian playing his usuall self , rain being in his 2017 form and olof and adren not being complete dogshit than yes FaZe can challange astralis...
2019-04-04 11:20
thats a lot of IFs tho...and you should 5 more IFs since every single player in astralis can win games by himself so: 1. if dev1ce would have bad game 2. if gla1ve would have bad game 3. if dupreeh would have bad game 4. if xyp9x would have bad game 5. if magisk would have bad game lets be real. in current state faze isnt threat at all
2019-04-04 11:23
It is a lot of if's but to be fair it should be that way , not like I'm trying to make edward or zeus 30frag , all there players realistically should be better than now.
2019-04-04 11:28
yea they should...imo the only real contender is liquid...

I think sooner or later Astralis will lose their power and will be replaced by Liquid (or NaVi, if they finally venture to get rid of Edward). I can't imagine a team that can consistently beat Astralis at their current shape.

+1 Right now it looks like the only thing that can beat Astralis is them getting worse not other teams getting better

FaZe could if they make some changes to their lineup. -olof +flusha -adren +sunny
2019-04-04 09:24
and who would IGL? would you keep Niko at it? I just don't think FaZe without a proper IGL can work we have seen time and time again that just raw skill isn't enough to beat astralis

flusha as IGL but IGL is not only problem of FaZe. They need some stuff like clutch master flusha (;
2019-04-04 09:31
I'm pretty sure Flusha doesn't want to be IGL he only did it in the past because he had to and besides I don't think he's good enough to lead FaZe to the level of astralis

Bro as i said IGL is not only problem. Olof done with him game he have experience but no confidence, he have skills but no consistency, he was a good player but getting worst day by day. Adren doing nothing special just a waste of time.

2019-04-04 11:01
I think it was stupid of FaZe to let tarik go to NRG. They could have signed him instead of adren and sign kio now instead of olof and you have a top2 and potential top 1 team...

If the swedish scene would put their best players together they should have a shot, but it seems they dont really care about it. Imo Flusha igl Krimz Forest Twist/draken Rez Would have a shot , but its never gonna happen :).
2019-04-04 09:28
I would truly love to see a Swedish superteam but thinking they can be better than astralis is just naive, a Swedish superteam could be stable top 5 and maybe even top 3 but they wouldn't be close to Astralis level

only team VAC sponsored by Valve could beat them... I`m not saying they`re hacking but maybe they need to bann 200IQ players, so the rest of the teams got some chances^^ Astralis Members can see CS:GO like that: 2.bp.blogspot.com/-NiWRXWy8-lQ/VskQjRxES.. And this is gla1ve in his IGL role: aref.de/kalenderblatt/2009/pics/xmatrix_.. S1mple after Device: aref.de/kalenderblatt/2009/pics/xmatrix_..

Cache was their perma ban and if they want to they can just make Vertigo their new one which then wouldn't change anything or they could play it and just get even better so I think the vertigo change only plays in Astralis favour

It really is a hard thing. Watching the last event with liquid and Astralis it looked like after going down 1-0 Astralis hit a switch and got 10x better. Them last 2 games liquid couldn’t lurk entry flank or push them. Everything was read and anticipated. I don’t know if it’s possible for anyone to beat a team that reads everysingle move u make. I don’t get it.
2019-04-04 09:47

In 2019 I would only suggest ENCE or Liquid for a serious contender. NaVi is a wild card. ENCE has the tactical potential and has by far not hit their ceiling nor have all their players hit their skill cap yet. They just need to establish a certain level of consistency regarding tactics and skill level to keep reaching finals (agaist Astralis). Liquid has all the individual skill but they rely on it too much. Much more skilled individuals than ENCE but as shown, the one man performances can be shut down and forcing matches to be about team play is a strong factor in the current meta. Unlike with ENCE, I don't see any possible upcoming obstacle with Liquids consistency. They can reach playoffs even with individual skills.
