2019-04-15 11:57
anything beyond 144 is useless
2019-04-15 13:36
not for me, my brother has 144, 240 is clearly better, you will notice right away when you are turning fast in a game like cs, you can turn faster before you start skipping pixels.

Well, have fun turning around really fast my friend. Buying a 240 hz over a 144 hz, is just buying something for the sake of buying.

u dont really need 27 inch for csgo almost no pros use them, and not because of saving money
2019-04-22 18:04
same thing people said about 60 and 144 a couple of years ago. You are delusional. The difference is insane. Not as big as 60 and 144 but still very very noticable. There is a reason every pro plays 240!

The pro's always use the newest equipment, why shouldn't they? I can see that you're fanboying device, so you would probably know about the interview he did in 'God aften, Danmark' where he also admitted that he couldn't tell if he was playing on a 144 or a 240, if no one told him.
2019-04-22 22:31
well im obviously talking too a poor 3rd world fucker. delusional retard new to fps games. Buy a 240hz monitor yourself. I have 3, can tell you difference between 240 and 144 even on crack after fucking your mum
2019-04-23 00:07
Loooool
2019-04-15 11:21
what, you dont like it? its got some of the lowest input lag on the market, and LG is a good brand compared to benq
2019-04-15 11:57
Yes for TVs... especially oled tvs.. but benQ got dyac which pretty much removes all ghosting that non dyac monitors got... sure most got "anti" ghosting but nothing gets near dyacs level of reducing ghosting and LG even writes it themself... using blur reduction makes the screen darker which benQs dyac barely have. And picture / color wise they all bad bcus they are TN panels...
2019-04-22 17:53
only a few tings are important for a gaming monitor. refresh rate and input lag. thats basically it. ghosting is irrelevant at 240hz. you dont need gsyc or freesync or anti ghosting because you dont see any screen tear or ghosting on 240hz. i have really good eyesight and i dont see it. its really crisp. makes even 60fps streams look good. at 240hz, even a 4ms extra delay from not using a TN panel = one frame delay. which is a disadvantage. so 240hz TN is clearly the best choice for fps games right now. from engineering point of view. of course if you want to look at the pretty colors on your screen you can do that, just dont claim that ppl who dont make your casual choice are making the wrong decision
2019-04-22 19:20
Ofc there is ghosting and screen tearing on 240hz monitors dont be silly now... 240hz has nothing to do with tearing or not... its about when frames on the monitor and graphic card gets updated at the same time.
2019-04-22 19:26
if the screen is built to give 240hz instead of 144 or 120, it will also have less ghosting because the pixels have to be able to be updated faster. screen tear at 240hz is impossible for me to see, and i see it on 120hz screens
2019-04-22 19:31
if you play a game at high fps on 240hz, you dont get to see screen tear because you get so many frames per second that you cant notice it. if you have low fps, 60 or lower, every frame is displayed at least 4 times and only the first and last time it will have screen tear, the ones in between are complete renders.
2019-04-22 19:33
27" lul
2019-04-15 12:22
i like big screen for cs with its big field of view
2019-04-15 12:52
why men
2019-04-15 13:02
so i can see ppls heads over/through boxes on mirage A site
2019-04-15 14:11
you also need 960 or 1080p resolution for this
2019-04-15 14:22
how can u even recommend a 27 inch monitor and think that any1 could take u serious ever again ? You clearly have no clue
2019-04-22 18:08
im genuinely a bit confused, why do you think 27" is so bad for cs?
2019-04-22 19:16
Because it is too big. It does not provide the ability to register the whole screen movement while sitting close to it.
2019-04-22 19:19
yeah so....ppl buy a bigger screen so they can sit a bit further away and have the same fov as with 24". i bought 27" because with 24" i had to put it so close that my keyboard didnt fit in front of monitor.
2019-04-22 19:19
Sitting further away just has major disadvantages. Buy a proper monitor stand
2019-04-22 19:21
if you put the 27" a bit further away than the 24" then its exactly the same. are you trying to bait me or actually retarded?
2019-04-22 19:21
No it is not. The second u put it further away you are not able to have the same focus on ur crosshair and u lose heavily on molotov and smoke visiblity There is a reason not a single pro player on earth plays with a 27'
2019-04-22 19:24
bro you need glasses
2019-04-22 19:29
nope "There is a reason not a single pro player on earth plays with a 27' as I said
2019-04-22 19:33
ropz played/plays on 30" for example, i dont really care about pro setups so i cant give more examples, but youre definitely wrong. also you cant give any argument why its harder to see your crosshair on a 27" screen that is slightly further away.
2019-04-22 19:34
i dont even know why im arguing with a retard, bye now
2019-04-22 19:34

Sick shippincostscam? Just buy a AOC c24g1 for 200€. Comes with a VN panel, which: quality is somewhere inbetween VN and IPS forthe cost of 1ms input lag (I have played multiple games on highest rank and I can tell you its not noticable at all). Cant get a better new 144hz at the moment, unless this BenQ actually has lower shippingcost for any country.
2019-04-15 10:47
does the curved monitor in anyway affect you ?
2019-04-16 10:27
Not really. I personally liked it from the very beginning. The only "downside" to it is, that it kinda amplifies a wrong vertical alignment.

Actually I bought the Benq XL2411P today or rather I will get it today. Just because I have XL2411Z which I like but it doesnt have a displayport so I cant get 144hz because my new RTX 2060 doesnt have a DVID port which I need for 144hz. The only way to get 144hz is via an active DP to DVID adapter which costs 133€ which I bought & it works but I get blackscreens every 2min for like 1/4th of a second which is annoying. So I bought the monitor for 200€, sent the adapter back & get 133€ back. Now I have a XL2411z monitor with 144hz which I cant use.
2019-04-15 11:42
LOL wtf
2019-04-15 11:51
Yeaaa it is really stupid. Only because of a free upgrade from my gtx 1060 which has a DP to a RTX 2060 without it which I didnt check.
2019-04-16 05:29
XDDDDDDDDDDD
2019-04-15 12:57

2019-04-16 10:17
Thats why I love amazon, you can just return every electronic device before you hit the 2 year mark. Returned the adapter for 133€ Bought the BenQ XL2411P for 200€ "Sold" the XL2411Z to my brother for 125€ (he still had 60hz, for 9 years now) Sold in "" because I still owed him 125€, so we are even now & I got rid of the monitor.

I've carefully read your accident, but it's quite confusing. In #26 you said that you have already the XL2411Z monitor, which indeed doesn't have a displayport, it has vga, hdmi and dvi-d for 144 hz. But you still firstly ordered the gtx with dp, even tho your mentioned monitor needed a dvi-d cable for the 144hz?
2019-04-17 00:54
I guess step by step is easier. 1. I bought the XL2411z in 2016 worked fine with my GTX 960 4gigs used dvid to get 144hz. 2. Bought a new computer, decided to get the GTX 1060 6 gigs, which has a dvid port. 3. The store didnt have the gpu anymore, so they gave me a free upgrade to a rtx 2060 6 gigs. Important here, I DID NOT CHECK THE PORTS. 3.1. I ordered my computer online, I selected the parts & they build it for me & sent it to me. Got a 3 year warranty if anything breaks. I ordered there before 3 times actually, so I quite trust the store. 4. I got my PC & realised that I cant get 144hz because my GPU doesnt have a dvid port. 5. There are two kinds of adapters, passive & active, passive dvid to dp give you 60hz, active dvid to dp can give you 144hz, but they are expensive (133€) 6. Bought the adpater, worked fine for a while & I had 144hz & then I got blackscreens of 1/4th of a second every 2-3min which were really annoying. 7. Decided to get the BenQ XL2411P because it has the DP. For 200€ 8. Sent back the 133€ active dvid to dp adapter. 9. "Sold" my XL2411Z to my brother because I did not need it anymore & I owed him 125€ which is still a fair price for a monitor that I used for 3 years.

All fine, expected it was like that, you've probably mistaken dvi-d with dp in #53 on the gtx which confused me.

2019-04-17 04:39
