I'd say it was a failure before it even began. If you read the stanislaw/shazam articles they talk about how the Danes gave up a month in and basically shut them out. They had no intentions of staying an NA team from the get go. Add in a star like k0nfig who while on top of his game was let down by his teammates in North time and time again over the previous year and who is also one of the most dramatic and whiny players in the game, and it was doomed to fail. I love k0nfig as a player, or what he was as a player. I've played CS since it came out, but I didnt know anything about the csgo scene until late 2016. The first tournament I watched showed k0nfig and TaZ going off and also talking shit to their opponents while being interviewed by the crowd. Thought he was destined to be a star. Instead he has become a team killer.
anyhow..I don't think stanislaw works in FaZe. But I also think he'd have a much better chance of success with FaZe than he ever did with OpTic. FaZe is an established tier 1 roster in need of guidance. OpTic was a random tier 2.5 mix of toxic Danish players coming to the US for the first time along with ShaZaM(the dane's musta been thinking lol we kick in a week) and NA's "supposed" top IGL who had already burnt enough bridges to no longer be considered for any of NA's premier teams. He had no shot of success from the get go. You don't trust or have the back of your IGL in top tier CS, you fail.
