Isn't the 8700 the same price? Couldn't you just get that instead?

yes since it has 20%~ faster single-core speed, I guess you are buying 7700 used not new? And not K version?

ur result were actually expected. Do u need the cpu to be 7th gen? what MoBo do u have? if u have capability to use 8th gen, i would suggest 8600 or 8600k, the definitely the best cpu for CSGO for the money, almost as good as 8700k, and far better than 7700k. EDIT: Have u checked that u have proper in-game settings on?
2019-04-19 21:54
my guess is that his nvidia settings are set up wrong

The 8x MSAA takes a load of fps, maybe try without, but still not enough.

if u manage to buy a used 7700 for 200 euro, it would be worth it, i dont see any other outstanding upgrade which is worth it if u keep ur MoBo. If you would like, u can buy a 100 euro z370 MoBo and a 250 euro 8600k, which i think it costs about now. what memory do u have?
2019-04-19 22:31
i5 8400 gtx 1050 ti MM- 300-500 fps (depends what map) Mirage going over 500 ,inferno cache around 300. DM FFA - 170 350 Got my pc for 600 euro Idk what is ur problem, clean it . Install cc cleaner, delete all shit files. Get some program to check maybe u got some virus on PC so make sure u get some malvare programs to clean it. Update drivers, set up ur nvidia settings to high perfomance, set up ur PC to high perfomance. Turn of 8 MSAA , if u need it put 2 or 4. For that pc 8 is too much.
2019-04-23 03:12
FPS BENCHMARK 4:3 1280x960 average 352fps 4:3 1280x720 with 4 MSAA average 400 all very low settings

8gb ram in single channel or dual? If single you should buy 2nd 8gb stick. And ofc your fps are going to improve with i7 7700 propably +20/25%, if you dont have cpu cooler you also need to buy one, maybe the box cooler is enough for i5 7400 but not for i7 7700.

How do you not have stable 144 already? I have stable 200-400 (depending on maps) with an i5-4670k and an R9 390.

You should have stable fps, are you testing on MM or faceit/esea servers ?

That bottleneck tho. Why a 1050TI and an i7?
