What are the best budget (50-60$) gaming headsets? I'm thinking about Hyperx Stinger.

Yeah same as #6 they are pretty decent with sound quality but tend to break very easily.

My brother has krakens for 3 years, still working. But they are decent.
2019-04-20 09:56
They are actually one of the only decent gamer headphone because they are a copy Takstar pro 80 with a mic thrown on. I wouldnt still pay more than 60€ for them tho.

you just described all "gaming" brands, but the hyperx ones are the least gamerish cos theyre based on decent oem cans

don't buy a headset, buy some decent quality headphones and get an attachable or desk mic. headsets are very rarely good on both the mic and the sound quality

SteelSeries Siberia v2 black i guess this model is pretty cheap nowadays but some sort of dimension quality at the same time compare to other models. throwback to my 2010( a tak hyperx bratan norm ushki
2019-04-20 10:19
+1 Bought one of the early generations in 2006 i think, worked until some months ago. Got a new one now for 40€, sound quality isn‘t blowing but i trust the built.
2019-04-20 10:24
nope. forget what you just said dont buy a trash headset invest a bit more and get a good pair of headphones and a good standalone mic. I recommend these: Headphones: Audio technica ATH-m50x Microphone: Audio technica AT2020 XLR + some usb mixer (behringer $60)

+1 first good advice
2019-04-20 10:23
fuck off, just buy a good headset for like 120 euros, quick and easy
2019-04-20 10:28
Those headsets are trash, they break in 1-2 years and are just very average in quality overall. Much better to invest a bit more to get a QUALITY product that lasts for 5-10 years easily
2019-04-20 11:19

Ur stoopid
2019-04-20 11:21
hahaha retard, my advice is based on my personal experiences with buying these audio products over the years. What I've found out that the most mainstream products are usually/always very average in quality, they break easily, they have issues. Eventually I came to my senses and bought the Audio Technica set i mentioned above. Zero issues even after 2 years and im happy with the quality. Gaming brands are literally cheap plastic trash with $2 components inside of them. All the production budget money goes to brand advertising instead

Because you're smart my friend. I'm still saving up to get DT770/880 pros :/

Good option too, I personally like audiotechnica more because the sound is more neutral, Beyerdynamics has added bass
