nah, nitr0 is playing really well right now
2019-04-21 03:07
he is but other players are still playing really well right now and because they play for teams that arent doing great ti hurts how they look Ethan, Wardell, ShahZam, and dapr imo are above him rn.

Remember that nitr0 is igl and he still plays really well
2019-04-21 03:11
I am remembering he is an IGL and that he's playing well but people are still playing better than him. Imo Stanislaw has been the best NA igl for awhile in terms of frag power. nitr0 just recently started playing like a top 10 player in NA EDIT: if we wanna talk players just playing in NA then CeRq is above nitr0 too. Also GOLDEN in terms of IGLing since he's been playing great lately

Literally makes no sense. Liquid has better teamplay and tactics than c9 and col. Nitr0 consistently puts up better numbers despite facing higher level competition more often Nitr0 has been playing at this level for over a year What you did was downplay nitr0s success and big up stanislaw and golden for being on weaker teams
2019-04-21 19:44
Everyone puts auti as top 3 to top 2 in NA when he's playing on C9. The only reason C9 has had any success at all with this lineup (in terms of competition since I think they're like 1-5 in series) has been GOLDEN and Auti being able to put up numbers and clutches with RUSH being able to put in enough to get them over the edge. Vice has been pretty bad and Cajun isn't a big numbers guy. coL has been a decent team lately considering the stand in issues and stan and Shahz have been putting up really good numbers for them and since they've been on the roster they were 2 front runners. If you count the roles and comparative to how weak the teams are and how they preform in their roles they are highly underrated. nitr0 is definitely a top 10 player in NA and tactics wise he is a great IGL and has been a key component to Liquids success, they also have a star studded roster so if they all play amazing and he can just stay at about a 1.0 KD with a 70+ ADR then he can get a good rating
2019-04-22 22:44
United States Jammin800k
A star studded roster backed by the 2nd most in depth and cohesive system in CSGO* DUE TO Nitr0 And honestly besides beating an underperforming NRG, what have CoL done? Underrated yes. Better than nitr0, no. Stan faces weaker teams more often and nitr0 still has better performances.
2019-04-22 22:49
The list is still opinionated and any argument can be made While coL is facing weaker teams that's because they aren't invited to top tier events since NA in general never gets invites outside of Liquid, NRG and C9 just because of brand worth. They don't get through qualifiers because in NA the way domestic matchups are, literally anything can happen in terms of teams winning. NRG missed out on a Major qualifier to teams like eUnited. Mix teams like Bad News Bears (granted they're a solid team) make it deep in qualifiers when in EU they'd be eliminated. Multiple Brazilian teams live in NA (oNe, FURIA, Luminosity) and take up slots in NA qualifiers too and they're solid teams (outside oNe), especially FURIA. NA CS is such a mess outside it's top 5 (counting teams that live in NA) that literally anything can happen and that's why so many matches seem like throws. If coL had more exposure to top teams they would show they are a decent team, and hold a similar role to what Gambit had pre-Krakow. Also I wouldn't say 2nd most in depth and cohesive system. Other teams are better then them, but their teamplay, and strats mixed with their personalities blending well and their raw skill still helps them. This debate has so many angles that there really isn't one answer since it's all opinionated and we don't know every little bit about all of this. This could go on for days.

It could but stan would never be in the conversation for top 5. NAF Twistzz Auti Elige Brehze And no CoL is facing weaker teams because they're a weaker team than Liquid. Theres literally nothing that stan does better than nitr0.
2019-04-22 23:05
That list I agree with much more except I think Elige would either be 5th or 6th, Brehze up one and IF Elige would be 6th then move up Stewie. He hasn't really set the world on fire like he would have a few years ago and his aim has been great and he hasn't been playing bad, just hasn't really been the insane top frag player all the time. I never would put Stan in the top 5 at all, but coL isn't that weak of a team, they did well at the Major despite not making legends, the first time was more circumstance because of them being more unknown to top teams. I see them as a team consistently attending DreamHack Opens, BLAST events and things like SuperNova Malta. I wouldn't put them in something like DreamHack Winters, StarSeries or other top notch events as an invite. My point is more that Elige isn't really a top 5 player and I got a bit off track with a tangent which is entirely my fault.

United States Jammin800k
But elige and stewie play similar roles on Liquid besides stewie getting to AWP (which should in theory increase his rating) and elige is putting up better numbers. Stewie wouldnt be my 6th I'd have Ethan before him, who definitely had a better 2018 and right now is having a better 2019. I'm noticing a lot of your analysis is quite subjective and somewhat biased. So let me actually break it down for you. Stewie recent LAN Ethan recent LAN And honestly arguments can be made for nitr0 and cerq above stewie as well.
2019-04-23 00:54
I'm not trying to put bias in which to a degree I can see where it gets taken that way but it's the internet so it isn't like it's a face to face debate. Elige is more consistent than Stew and I would put him over Stew but cases can be made for either side which is why I brought it up since there isn't any definitive ranking (though I would enjoy an HLTV player rankings with any player in like the top 100 team rankings or atleast top 50) so I like to leave some room for error with things. If I was to put anyone over Elige it'd be Ethan though or if you want to bring in lower talent you could say even TenZ since he has experience against top players with FPL (EU players in Na for events) and rarely plays bad but that's a whole different debate that I'm not even gonna attempt because that is one of the few things that would lose

He's been pretty solid with NRG. I don't think it'll last all things considered. Since OpTic, when tarik joins a team they do really well, win an event then he falls off individually then the team goes to shit, he moves on, plays well, wins an event, goes to shit. OpTic C9 MiBR now he's gotta do it with NRG
2019-04-22 22:45
solid? maybe...top5 NA? not even close...btw 1.04 lan rating, 0.97 in big events and 0.98 vs top10 teams in 2019 so far. i wouldnt call that solid at all and FAR from top5
2019-04-22 22:52
Again I'm looking at recent form and it's a newer roster. I give it another 2 months before they'll be super strong again and another 2 months before they fall off after they win some event EDIT: Tarik is debatable but I still thought he was a solid enough player for top 5, but I probably should've put him at 6 or 7. It's a close contest
2019-04-22 23:00
2019 stats are recent form with new roster. the rest of your post is just speculation. for now, tarik is nowhere near top5 na player which is pretty much FACT
2019-04-22 23:08
This list is also more based around opinion. If you wanted to go for pure skill he's barely top 10 but a lot of top players I wouldn't even have top 5 Comparative to competition level, roster life, role, and team play he is in the 8th-5th area since removing EU, OCE, and SA people. Bring them in hes around 15th. Skill top 5 1. Auti 2. TenZ 3. oBo 4. NAF 5. dapr even then this list is opinion based
2019-04-22 23:13
i hate lists that are based on hypotetical things like "pure skill". look at players actual performance...
2019-04-22 23:14
That's somewhat the point I'm making It's all about opinion really and how you look at things. I've been looking more at domestic over international events with my ideas of the list but still giving that factor in.
2019-04-22 23:20
tarik is top 3 at least!!
