Do they matter as much as mice, are the big differences between response times etc, right now I'm using an old thermaltake esports keyboard and I was thinking of buying the hyper x alloy fps keyboard, don't know if it's worth it though.

One that fits ur hand. Same with mice. They are all the same. Headset and monitor are the only accessories that can give you an advantage

Yeah cool i dont know what i will do with that information But i have hyper x alloy fps and it has been nice so far. Only minus is that it doesnt have a wrist pad but i made a diy one. Go for it if you can get it cheap. Got mine for 80€

its not that important compared to headset, mouse and pad but once you get to the mech keyboards you never go back to normal one

I dont think they matter at all, having mechanical for better feeling obv, I have some low budget 50bucks brown switches and its great, its some noname brand, but since I have mechanical I like to type a lot more. Just find some you like, maybe rgb, switches, I also prefer shortened version of keyboards, they are best
