With the amount of refugees entering illegally, I'm not even entirely sure how they can come up with that 62% statistic, but sure, if that is true, that's a lot of jobs that won't go to the locals. Not sure if you're aware of the economic situation in eastern countries, but let me tell you, if even 20,000 refugees came to Latvia, there's no way in hell 62% of them would be able to find employment.
Also you keep suggesting that letting people into your country is some kind of obligation. If you don't agree to do it, you're somehow a leech. It's incomprehensible to me. They even state the reasons behind it, one of which is safety.
