Pls help with PC. I have around ~1500$. Also Monitor is needed, since I don't have one. Gonna play mainly CS:GO/Apex Legends/Civ VI, and also since that's gonna be quite good PC, I would also go for some new upcoming/recently released games. Constructive suggestions and composed builds are welcome :)

what mhz of ram? isn't 600w is too low even with gold psu?
2019-04-22 16:12
I would say a rule of thumb is 2X more powerful psu than expected wattage

Even with i9 9900x and rtx 2080 ti 600w is enough, and for this build 600w is sufficient, well if you have any doubt just look for 750w gold psu

for 1500$ you can build a very good PC. As my friend lately bought a new PC I can give you the specs and the money you need to pay for a specific component: GeForce RTX 2060 - $420 (you can take 2080 if you want) AMD Ryzen 7 2700 - $300 1TB HDD - $50 256 GB SSD - $70 Corsair RAM 32GB 3000MHz - $250 ASUS PRIME B450M-A - $95 144Hz Monitor (like Iiyama G-Master or Acer KG241) - $150 rest you can buy mouse and nice keyboard

Why only 3000MHz RAM? I heard it's better to have higher HMz RAM with AMD CPU's. It's easy to find some 3200 or 3400.

New AAA games 2019/2020 will need more RAM than ever, so buying 32GB ram is an investment in a long running PC

Zen 2 about to be released, wait and see what Ryzen chips unfolds in following months, that can be best path to take if you plan to get into 144hz gaming.
