So i've been wondering how you should get the max out of your body while benchpressing if you have no spotter. I rather do it on the multitool, cause there i'm able to go always to the limit. After the normal benchrpress it always feels like i haven't pushed myself to the edge. How do you do it, if you're on your own at the gym

multitool is for soyboys in my gym every bench has a rack with different heights, so even if i fail on the last rep, i can still lock the bar on the lowest rack with no Problem if youre doing 3+ reps per set you should Always have a good feel for whether you can get another clean rep in or not if youre doing a single max-rep just ask someone whos close (preferably a chick) to spot you for a sec, thats gonna make you look Alpha as fuck

I don't even train till failure. But i feel like i could work with a much higher weight but don't feel comfy doing so. Asking some1 to be my spotter is no problem but i go early in the morning before university and the gym is often still empty then
