country tier list HIGH IQ VERSION
Ok making a tier list based mostly on HDI (a composite statistic of life expectancy, education, and income per capita indicators) with some changes based on both quality of life, livability & crime. I think the HDI rankings are normally pretty accurate but some things i disagree with. Keep in mind this is my opinion lol not fact.
GDP is also one of my criteria but has very minimal impact on rankings (i dont give a fuck how much money China makes if every other aspect of the average person living there is dogshit)
Probably will copy paste lower tiers from OJ's list because below tier 3 who even knows tbh. Countries are not in any order just organised in to tiers.
Tier 1: USA, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, New Zealand (possibly could move down imo but probably not), Singapore, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Finland, Japan, Iceland, UK, Belgium, France, Luxembourg,
Tier 1.5: Ireland (maybe tier 1 not sure), South Korea (also possibly tier 1), Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Estonia, UAE (possibly tier 1)
Tier 2: Turkey (arguments for tier 1.5), Greece, China, Malaysia (also arguments for 1.5), Russia, Ukraine, Brazil (could honestly be higher but crime seems to be abundant), Romania, Lithuania, Serbia, Albania, Taiwan, Israel, Argentina, Aruba, Croatia, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines
Tier 2.5: Mexico(arguments for tier 2 but hella crime), Portugal, Vietnam, Colombia, Cyprus, Uruguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, pretty much every other South American country i cant name off the top of my head, and every SEA country I didn't list.
Tier 3: Egypt, Nigeria
Tier 4: Every other African country, Iraq, Afghanistan
Dogshit tier: North Korea
Probably missed some relevent countries ill update later
