Probably not, but it's just fading. Well, let's see in the Berlin major.

Why over? It was close but they still won. Astralis era not over

and even if they lost it wouldnt be over. Meaningless groupstage match with both teams already qualified. German fans as always overhyping everything.

Hard to tell without seeing them in big 8/16 team tournaments with multiple bo3s

But my guess would be no. This match didnt mean much after they won dust2 so they probably saved potential new strats and didnt 120% tryhard

Its over, they are playing worst and worst. You can see the empty look on their faces, they have no more answer to their opponents, sad to see but true

It's normal for every team. Also I think they did it all not to be that hungry anymore for more glory. They won back to back majors, back to back esl ecs leagues, the majority of tier 1 trophies in a year, the grand slam award. I don't think there is anything else for them to win.
2019-04-26 02:03
Yes, there is. They could win 3 majors with the same line-up (and 3 majors in a row if it's the next major), no other team managed that. I think that's the only milestone left on their list, all the rest would only be a bonus from there because it would only extend onto everything they have.

That is almost impossible. There is no way for a new team not to eventually anti strat them in such a long time.

people do anti-strat astralis. they just adapt quick enough so usually they never lose the same way twice

Other teams are cathing up fast tho and honestly they don't look as dominant as they used to be 3-4 months ago.
2019-04-26 02:20
again, I see this everytime, they didnt play at big stage yet after katowice. katowice is like 2 months right? they dominated everyone like it was 5 globals vs silvers. wait until they play big stages like ecs or esl pro league. they fucked themselves kinda, only going to blast ( which is the worst format for them too )

Even assuming it was almost impossible, that would still be something that is on their list for sure. But I don't think it's even close to impossible, it doesn't need to be the next major (the next major would complete a 3rd major in a row, but they could win another with the same line-up). But even 3 in a row, if there's a team who can do it it's certainly them. 4 months is a long time, even if they get figured out, they still have time to correct and come back with other stuff. And that's only if they get figured out, people have been betting on the end of their dominance for quite a while, and yet despite losing at some events from time to time, they still managed to come back, so I'll believe it when I see it. Of course there's the possibility that they get figured out around the time of the major, in which case they could be fucked. Or the possibility that they don't manage to come back. But same here, I'll believe it when I see it. Not to say that it's in the bag though, it's probably the hardest thing they would have to do, even compared to what they've already done. If I were to bet I would say that their chances to win a 3rd major with the same line-up are about 1/3 at the moment. And their chances to win a 3rd major in a row are about 1/5. Of course those numbers are straight out of my ass and subject to change as time passes, but you know, just to make it clear that even if I don't think it's close to impossible, I don't think it's easy by any means.
2019-04-26 02:31
I agree they are the only team that might actually do it. The pressure is huge tho and the possibilities are not really on their favor, but we will see.
2019-04-26 02:36
it is hard to say what defines the end of an era
2019-04-26 01:59
Let's be realistic. I don't think they are winning it. It's nearly impossible for them to do it unless they regain their godlike form like 2-3 months ago.
2019-04-26 02:00
they lost a couple maps fnatic used to lose matches in groups stages a bit in there era. if they bomb out in berlin major then maybe

the berlin major will be the first major i attend and it would be the greatest thing for me if FaZe wins. I would probably die from a heart attack.
