This is sad, but true. Some people here have done that and were probably inspired by the "aggressive"porn out there, which did cause deaths. So its a really good move. People with a little sense can use VPN anyway.

Nah, Chinese people hate weed and drug. Well, our country was fucked before by opium so I understand.

No. Refuse legalizing marijuana is one of the thing Asians are doing better than Liberals. But I do smoke it sometimes with my friend and had a good time before in Amsterdam... so I’m kinda having a double standard lmao.
2019-05-14 15:38
same tbh, i don't want the cities to be filled with potheads while i don't mind smoking a joint inside my room from time to time
2019-05-14 15:41
Yeah me think that way too. Although the weed being gate-away drug theory might be proven wrong, but I think it makes sense some how. Legalizing weed by the federal gov is like opening pandora’s box to me. I would prefer going to other countries with my friends to smoke some joints.
2019-05-14 15:47
So you prefer that people just buy their stuff in back alleys from weird drug dealing people? Not even sure what you are actually buying ? I'm all for government legalizing and producing weed. (And if weed goes well even hard drugs). No more or less (street)dealers, less crime, less dealers costing money in jail. Better product for users and users are able to enjoy it in a safer environment (for those who don't smoke at home).
2019-05-14 20:01
The thing with the gateway drug. By legalizing it you can controll it and sell/buy it at state certified stors etc. So you don't need that fishy backdoor dealer, who afther some time asks you to try something harder. You are not in direct contact with the fishy person as you are now in some countrys. Sure, some people might think they want something harder afther smoking for some time, but there is no barrier for them now anyways.

Ok so today I learned that there are two major political orientations: Liberal and Asian
2019-05-14 20:14
At least here in germany the conservatives are against the legalization of weed. And the more liberal party want it to be legalized. So i don't know where you are from but I don't think beeing against weed isn't a liberal trait, it's a more conservativ trait.

2019-05-16 10:51
Don't know, there are some reasonable argument against the legalization of marijuana. But I don't know the exact arguments of the partys themself. But partys like the CDU proofed they don't need (reasonable) arguments to be convinced in themself and even when prooved wrong they just fuck around.

Yeah, I've heard that you cant consume MJ in national parks or something because those are federal land areas and using drugs over there is forbidden or something :D Even though the national park would be in a state that has already legalized MJ. Is that true my man?
2019-05-14 15:45
I have no idea. I'm just huge on states having more power. You don't like the laws? Move 1 state over and its great.

Well if that's true its fucked up :D Why couldnt you smoke weed in a national park wtf... :D That might be the only thing that I can think of if we are looking for cons about having it legalized only in the states and not on a federal level.

I’d rather have it completely legalized in the country. Where’s the logic in making an actual plant illegal while keeping alcohol and cigars which are 10 times more harmful than weed.
2019-05-14 15:46
#17 sums it up for me
2019-05-14 15:47
No. You should force Mexico to legalize it, then Trump won’t need to build the wall because Mexicans would have more jobs.
2019-05-14 15:48
any drugs should be legal survival of the fittest
2019-05-14 15:44
im for all drugs legalized. cuz the reason drugs are illegal is not cuz they harm but cuz they take away customers from pharma. u telling me they fine killing innocent people to get hold on the opioids but they are not fine letting ppl smoke weed, bullshit.

tbf i’d rather have drugs at least decriminalized with exception of weed which should be legal, but I would still ban cocaine. I dont see the logic of making a plant illegal while keeping alcohol and cigars legal when they’re way more harmful.

Legalize it, tax it, use the taxes partly for everyones benefit (schools, parks, local trains etc) and partly to prevent and help drugaddicts.
2019-05-14 15:51
Why would German need tax money for local trains? German trains are the best in EU.
2019-05-14 15:52
That was more general, not limited to germany. But at the moment there are some people and countries discussing free public transportation. In Luxembourg they are actually making all public transportation free in 2020: "Now, from the start of 2020 all tickets will be abolished, saving on the collection of fares and the policing of ticket purchases." theguardian.com/world/2018/dec/05/luxemb.. This would be amazing for germany aswell. Alot of poorer people just cant afford to buy tickets everyday. For example, if you live in my area, if you want to go to the next bigger city, you will need to pay 3,60€ for a local train. thats 7,20€ for one trip. And if you just need to buy something small or want to meet some friends, this makes live alot more expensive. If everyone can just use them for free, people would be able to buy alot more. They save money from many sources one wouldnt expect while also pumping money into the economy. And dont forget tourism. If you visit Luxembourg in 2020, you can ALSO take all trains for free. And 1 thing is sure: I will go to Luxembourg next year. I just need to buy a ticket to the border and then I can go wherever I want.

2019-05-14 18:03
Trains in germany count as "in time" until they reach 6 minutes to late. And they count as in time when they dont even arive
2019-05-16 10:53
its too good to be true
2019-05-16 10:44
People could think aboutthis for a very long time now and I havent seen any real arguement against it. I think the best we can do is look at other countries that legalized it and then see how it turned out and what exactly they did. We have the USA, Canada, Netherlands etc. The only thing I think has ben done wrong, is they way you can advertise etc in the USA. In should be similar to how it is in in germany with cigarettes. No advertisement, no huge campaigns etc.. Just stores that can sell buds and some other products, without any advertisement in TV etc, otherwise you will end up with bigger problems. People should smoke weed if they want to, not because they have been manipulated by media/adverts.
2019-05-16 13:45
no, because if its legalized in my country it will cost more

Yeah tbh. Way less dangerous to your body than tobacco and alcohol, Pretty much impossible to overdose, won't give you a physical addiction (might give you a mental one though), and the government can get more money by taxing it. It's a win-win.
2019-05-14 17:56
Juat make it age resticted because it's harmfull while your body is in the growing process. And inform the public about it.
2019-05-16 10:57
Yep, would helo to kill illegal drug trafic
2019-05-14 17:57
yes. ppl used it for medicine 2000 years before Christ's time.... atleast legal for medicine... recreational use should be decriminalized and cheap so gangs and shit cant make money on it :)
2019-05-14 17:58
Don’t really know. Not enough studies on it have been done to show its effects because of its legal status. More are starting to come out now but I’ll probably wait a few more years to form an opinion on it

its like with a gun if its banned no matter what if u really want it u will get it, so just legalize or decriminalize
2019-05-14 20:12
decriminalize wont solve the illegal supply chain, tax, and quality control issues we currently have. legalization is clearly the way to go. so lets wait another 20 years while the VVD stalls all the plans other parties make for legalization.
