PING PROBLEMS
truth |

In all my years of csgo I've had a good ping (never over 50) but last two weeks ive had massive lag spikes (700 ping, 3-4 times per round). I did change som windows internet settings prior to the problems I believe, but changed it back right away. Is there any way to check if its the ethernet cable, windows 10 internet settings or csgo settings that is the problem? Please help!

first 30 seconds a solid 10-15ms, but I get some spikes u to 300ms after a minute. I also checked it on my mac, and I got a solid 10-50 ping there, but no spikes. Can u tell me what that means?

I have the best option the provider offers (fiber) and when doing speed test i get 120mbps (suppose to get 800mbps but idc) and my router is definitely strong enough.

definitely a problem that you should fix, call the provider, probably a problem at their end and that speed difference is way too big
