GoT ending has kind of combined both: terrible writing and pointless ending(Bran: "I don't want anymore" when asked by Tyrion if he'd like to become the Lord of Winterfell; Bran 2 episodes later be like "Why do you think I've come all this way?"), given the scenes we have seen(council etc.) it looked so dumb, like they were filming a comedy. "3ER being a villain theory" wasn't even played by them they just wanted to give his character another dumb and pointless reply. Like so many failures in 1 episode, like Iron Islands that were promised Independence by Dany didn't really care to say a word after North proclaimed Indenendence just for fun. Not to speak of the fact that one of the Stark has become a ruler of the "Six" Kingdoms, despite Stark's Queen rulling the North as an independent kingdom which gives no rights to any Stark to be a king of other Kingdoms(he's from the independent kingdom, how can he rule other kingdoms?) There were some many plot holes that I'm not sure why didn't they at least try to "polish" the plot? It'd still be dumb, but at least nobody could have said CGI was the only good thing about the season.
