If she'd accepted help from Trump there would've already been a brexit. The truth is that she's a remainer and that she therefore should've never been prime minister!!

TF you talking about? Trump has a 70-80% disapproval rating in the UK, and that number is a year old, it's probably higher by now.

Well let's roll back the tapes and decypher this then. You think me saying "This coming from the guy that said the BNP aren't far-right enough..." is a smear. Fair point, because it was purposefully worded that way to get your reaction. So, I put it to you, that if I point out your contradictions on voting age, relative not to your views but to the policies that currently exist that make 16yo basically independant adults, and you then perpetuate a fantasy about me strawmanning you, plus continue that fantasy the next day, is that not also a smear?

Brexit doesn't happen cuz all people in the parliament are idiots. None of them have a clue what they want. This doesn't change with a resign.
2019-05-24 11:56
+1. The UK should call another general election so parliament will be comprised of different people, that's the only way to break their deadlock. Replacing one idiot with another won't solve anything.
2019-05-24 12:07
They already did that... After the referendum May called for a GE. That literally made things worse cuz she lost her majority. Parliament should not be involved at all. They have no accountability towards delivering Brexit.
2019-05-24 12:16
They haven't called for a GE since being at a Brexit impasse, though. I do agree that this initial referendum probably contributed to a lot of the troubles the UK have with Brexit today, but in my opinion that's all the more reason to change the composition of MPs in the British Parliament - nothing will get passed under this current system, the Brits can't just leave things like this.
2019-05-24 12:43
??? Brexit has been at an impasse for years.
2019-05-24 12:48
Poor choice of words by me, then - I mean the *recent* Brexit impasse (i.e. where Theresa May, and then subsequently various MPs, put a series of bills to parliament over possible alternatives to leaving without a hard Brexit and not one of those bills passed through), which is what resulted in the UK not leaving at the end of March as they were supposed to, and instead having a provisional extension until June 30th. If there were a different composition of MPs in Parliament, they'd be able to pass through an alternative bill, which would at least be better for the British people than the situation they're in now as it would remove the uncertainty.
