2019-06-14 12:51
He is Still on top 300 team
2019-06-15 01:20
as a coach and i was strictly talking about age on the subject of your reflexes and muscle memory degrated as you age but ofcourse your kebab brain cannot handle this and has to pull coaches into this just cause hes old

2019-06-13 12:52
If I had to choose between cleaning toilets and sucking dicks in-game I'd pick the last.

Sweden Gunz.
Why is that funny. In the future it will be common.
2019-06-09 16:12
Yeah man, I don't get that either... Same with football, of course people argue their physical performances will be limited gradually as they get older, but come on, who the fuck considers a 30 year old as "old", lol.
2019-06-09 16:28
Exactly. There where no old CS players in 1.6 . The reason ppl quit was because the game was dying. And only "younger" ppl where playing. That's why every1 quit at the young age of 27 or something. I think retirement age will be more lik 33-37 in the future. Perhaps higher in other games
2019-06-09 17:06
What are you talking about, people quit because there were no more tournaments. No one cares how many people play the game, there is no game that dies. Get a fucking identity, play a game because you like it not because other people play it.
2019-06-13 12:44
Yeah, continue being a professional player in a game with no one watching it. Where do you think tournament money comes from?
2019-06-13 12:50
"No one cares how many people play the game, there is no game that dies. Get a fucking identity, play a game because you like it not because other people play it." Gunz is talking about pro players, not casual players.
2019-06-13 13:04
Well the pros care if players play and watch :))
2019-06-13 16:59
but physical sports are simpler. csgo heavily relies on reaction times and intuitive decision making. the brain degrades quicker than the body especially with the lifestyle of a gamer. athletes are always working out. pro gamers only sometimes.
2019-06-14 10:01
So ? you have boxers still fighting at 40 years old
2019-06-09 16:14
in the cs scene 30 yrs is already past the average retirement age........
2019-06-09 16:16
what? How can you estimate that? csgo isn't old enough to know that
2019-06-09 16:22
And why is that? Ppl quit at the age of 27ish in 1.6 because the game DIED, and there wasnt enough money. Ppl didnt quit because they got old lelle
2019-06-09 17:07
United Kingdom INGEMARSSON_
Feel free to post some evidence of people retiring at 27. I don’t recall this in the slightest.
2019-06-13 12:57
well, actually what i ment was ppl were retiring at a young age in 1.6 because the game was dying. I did not exactly mean 27
2019-06-13 16:58
United Kingdom INGEMARSSON_
No. You're talking utter shit. If people were retiring because the game was dying then their age wouldn't have been relevant.
2019-06-13 20:23
Or not lol. younger players kept playing lel. That's why ppl like spawn heaton E T fcking c are retired now XdDDD

That is based on 1.6 and CSS primarily, and those had much fewer career opportunities than CS:GO, so you will definitely see that the average retirement age will increase over the next 5 years.
2019-06-14 09:40
33 years old and still trash

haha first 20+ you're basiclly unconscious floating leaf in wind like a sponge, driven by hormones and instintics(bilological drives), ego's desires (this one might last to death) and social conditioning (clutre, social norm etc, this is also hard to overcome) unless you had very good paretting and roles models - which is low probablity you start to learn about life and yourself after 20/25 ++

Actually they do untill your late forties if you train them. Peak athletic results is reached at 33 y old on average in regular sports too. Even the one including reflexes.
2019-06-14 10:56
thats athletic tho were talking about your mental peak which is around 23 average*
2019-06-14 12:47
Gr8 b8 m8 but facts are facts, elder players have worse performance and it's visible rigjt after hitting 30 and even before. Studies:
2019-06-13 12:47
nah hes german tho hed rather be racist and no brain his shit country lost 100% of all world wars there has ever been ;p
2019-06-13 13:31
United States WindyInu
do you think that playing the game since his teens and constantly keeping his reflexes sharp throughout the years would have any effect? this study just chose random people at each age and tested them, they didn't account for what they do or how much they train their reflexes
2019-06-13 13:37
it is a proven fact that playing video games (especially fps games) improves reflexes and reaction times but even if his reflexes and reaction times were above average they are still below average compared to your average cs pro player , still better than zeus ;p
2019-06-13 13:44
taz could join f0rest and some other dudes to actually form a legit Old Guys Club

33 years and CS is his job, so? He is living good live and still playing on top level.
2019-06-13 13:47
Less stress than a regular job. The experience to have a well timed schedule. He can do sport on the side easily or whatever. Unless he is stupid he will have 0 physical problem from such a life contrary to many jobs. Honestly speaking, apart from the stigma when you tell people you play games it's an amazing carreer. He must have stached enough cash and invested to be settled for life too.

Peak athletic results in many sport is reached at 33 y old on average. And that is with physical sport. For esport if there were no monetary problems, social stigma from doing it for a living once you grow older etc you would see pro players in their 40's too. Reflexes don't decay untill you are in your late forties if you train them regulary. There is nothing preventing any older folks to be on par with young kids if they wanted and put in the hours.

So what? He gets to do what he enjoys the most and still gets income from it... also he isn't in tier 1 anymore so he doesn't need to perform like he had to back in VP. I don't see any problem here.
