Grammar Id say, a lot german born people still make a ton of mistakes.
still better than french tho
Its pretty hard to learn i think
idk i had no problem learning it
Spelling is easy, grammar is hard. It's the opposite of English basically.
declination is the worst imo, but it is vastly dependent of your mother ton. For exemple people already using declination have no such issue.
why would you learn german? stick to english
if you want to learn another language I would pick spanish
As a German I can say that there's a ton of grammar rules that you have to learn, words are longer than in most languages because we just combine words that "describe" the new word: "Kühlschrank"(refrigerator)="Kühl"(cool)+"Schrank"(cupboard) you can literally add as much words as you want to as long as it makes some sort of sence like: "Arbeiterunfallversicherungsgesetz" which means "work accident insurance law".
It's a hard language for sure but I know a few people who live in Germany for just a few years that are fluent but all of them still have problems with the articles. German articles are a pain in the ass even for Germans
I dont know how hard it is to learn but German makes sense not like many other Languages
but once you understand der die das / er sie es
it probably becomes easier
2 years of grrman in school and all I learned is ich fike deine mutta from csgo.
My personal opinion is fike german.
REALLY HARD. Only Aryans can learn it flawlessly, sorry.
I had troubles remembering words, grammar is not that hard if you know the words and the meanings etc.
The base is maybe hard but logical and spelling is easy.
Then the Shit comes Like articles, but you dont need that, people will still understand you.
no german knows german rules...
we just speak it freestyle.
Yes it was hard to beat them on the war, but to the good of the planet, we did it.
moving to germany next summer without knowing a single word in german 😎😎😎😎
who learns german lol
I found it pretty easy. The grammar is the hardest part though
vocabulary, rest isnt that hard as i expected
is walking on water hard?
Fucking hard trust me. I've loved English so much since the first time I was in a Deutch class.
the grammar is, but at least you write it like it sounds
Im wondering how foreign people know which article they need to use.
bestest thread i ever seen in my life
Yes, all my native German friends speak English with each other because it is easier. Still worth learning though.
for chinese it's totally opposite from english speakers, pronunciation is the hard part, the gammar and
logic of sentence is easy to understand.
just talking about basic level.dont know futher
try to learn spanish instead :)
i guess it depends where ur from, for dutch or danish guy its probably easier to learn german than for a spanish guy.
those german articles are fucking horrible
Spanish is more beneficial to learn, unless you're learning it just for fun just go for it :)
why would you want to learn any west eu language other than english?
on the vocabulary side german and english are kinda similar at some points but regarding grammatic and so on german is way more difficult, even for germans themselves it is hard at some point
The Pronunciation is a hard thing for german beginners tbh, and we also have letters like ä, ö , ü, ß ... most foreign people dont know how to talk out these letters correctly, but I think its a pretty hard language to learn :D
You only need english. German people should start learning English to communicate with you.
I was learning german in school/ uni ....Pretty difficult to learn and Never used any of it . Even when travelling to germany i speak english.
Learn spanish instead !
German is pretty normal, it doesn't differ from others
depends on which level.
speaking german on a level that a german understands you is not that difficult.
speaking (and writing) a good and clean german is hard.
I have german finals in like 2 weeks and I can't talk german for shit even though I've had it for like 4 years now
horrible language imo
Its not incredibly hard. The UN has made a list language on the difficulty when they have to train ambassadors to go to other countries. They rank German has the only catagory 2 language. 5 is hardest, 1 is easier. 1 consist of danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, spanish, French and some others (so you can compare)
Sorry that I can’t find the website where it says the categories:(
German is really easy tbh. Dutch is way worse.
grammar was extremely difficult for me
What country do you come from?
sounds barbaric and confuse to me
JAJA NATURLISH, IN DER GASKAMPFER GEHEN SCHNELL YOU POLAKS UND JEWS
I'd say it is pretty hard. It has a lot of grammar rules to learn, but also a lot of exceptions of these rules which makes it even harder. The fact that we have three "genders" of words with different articles and pronouns is a factor as well.
If I compare it to English, english is way fucking easier
easiest language to learn from a book after latin.
in many ways, it's really close to the English language, but you're going to struggle with articles, and adjective conjugations.
