Ma your dreams led you onto the wrong way. It's ours as long as the stars shine above, unless, we mess it up ourselves.
2019-06-15 15:17
Its only a thought. If you want to know what it is, its Crimea and Donbass. Like I said, its only a thought. However if we take the current atmosphere, it seems the actions in both places will lead to consequences than just sanctions.

With someone else in our spot, it would, but not this time. You'd be surprised but Russia is able to justify all of its actions and prove it undeniably. You just never really asked before jumping on accusations, like always though.
2019-06-15 15:24
Like I said, its only a thought. From current situations, Kaliningrad’s future in my POV is just a toss up.

Thoughts are made of this, speculations on scratch. Won't be happening what you imagine.
2019-06-15 15:28
Likely not, but most things tend to never go as planned, but I can always be wrong about it.

You don't question history, we were better than you back then and it led to this fact. What's Russian will stay like that, unless, I repeat, we let it go ourselves.

germany doesnt even want it back and its only russians living there now anyway
2019-06-15 15:32
I know that. Im simply curious on what could Kaliningrad’s future be if we take the current atmosphere into consideration. The province’s extremely isolated and different from the rest of Russia so from my POV, its future just seems to be a toss up but I can be wrong.

ok? so what are you insinuating? war with russia? thats just stupid nothing will happen to it, why are you even brining this up?
2019-06-15 15:38
out of curiosity. War with russia? ofc not. Im simply curious on what Kaliningrad’s future could be and perhaps make some speculations aside from war.

i havent heard of anything indicating change there lately, like independence or whatever you could speculate about future of hong kong is on the other hand pretty interesting right now
2019-06-15 15:43
ofc. And considering HK’s protests and riots, now the question is: what happens now? For Kaliningrad, Im just curious on its future due to how isolated the province is etc.

i guess they could potentially become more aligned with the west because of their isolation but thats only if the west is something to look up to and copy, which it isnt right now we dont even believe in ourselves which is why no one really respects us mainstream media in the west are also trying to make russia and east eu look like racists, bigots, anti-democratic, all kinds of -phobes, evil white christian patriarchs and whatever i believe their future is very secure as part of russia just as it is today, they probably feel more russian than ever
2019-06-15 16:13
I believe so as well, however things dont always stay the same and to me, it’ll likely be the case for Kaliningrad but like usual I can be wrong. Kaliningrad’s pretty patriotic about being russian and will likely remain that way, but for some reason from my POV, I still can’t shake the feeling that Kaliningrad’s future will be an outcome no one really expects.
2019-06-15 16:38
part of russia obviously
2019-06-15 15:09
As much as I agree, but nothing ever stays the same. Especially if we take the location etc of Kaliningrad into consideration.
2019-06-15 15:12
who wants to take away territories from Russia?
2019-06-15 15:13
no one obviously cause no one wants to deal with a large russian minority. Russia once offered to return the city to Germany but in the end Germany declined.
2019-06-15 15:14
now it's a militarized region from which we can strike anywhere in EU ;) no chance to take it
2019-06-15 15:21
and unfortunately for Russia the place’s surrounded by the EU and NATO, making Kaliningrad surrounded, isolated, and vulnerable.
2019-06-15 15:24
yeah, that's why it's so protected
2019-06-15 15:26
i like that its not where the all russia citys are, poland, baltic countries, belorussia is close
2019-06-15 15:47
Politically? Bad. Outside of that? pretty good.
2019-06-15 16:07
yeah the place is soo good i like it :D never been in russia and i like that place, i will go there <3

Russia once offered to return Kaliningrad before USSR collapsed but Germany declined due to apparently how russified the place is and how they dont want to deal with a large russian minority.

hmm ive never heard about anything like that we study the history of our region and i hear about that thing for the 1 time

The offer was secret apparently, hence why it’s rarely mentioned.

Cant remember the source, I only found that Kaliningrad was once secretly offered to be returned to Germany but ended in Germany declining and remaining Russian to this day.

Return most of land to Lithuania, and give the big city of Kaliningrad to Poland. It will be easier for Poland to integrate that pure Ruski slav city. I think Polish-Lithuania partition would be good future
