It’s too late now, but the IGL wasn’t the problem period. FaZe could have done two better things:
1. Dropped a player like GuardiaN or olof
2. Done nothing.
2 would only make sense if the team was getting along, but that wasn’t happening. So, if FaZe realized that having 4 stars with no one to lead them was a bad idea, they would have dropped another player or maybe even two instead.
There was no way to keep karrigan when no one believes on his calls, the problem starts there. Kicking him was a mistake as soon as they where not able to get a half decent igl out of it, at that point you shat ap and listen to his fucking calls, but it was too late.

On every single big event in the last 3 months besides IEM Sydney where Olof was better and GuardiaN was worse, and the lastest EPL, where he was worse than both but both still played like bots, he performed better than both

+1 fluke run at Boston major. The only truly salvageable player from Faze is Niko. Despite his arrogant ass ego.
The karrigan effect
Thorin stated that the players that didn't follow him 100% was NiKo. Faze is not stupid. Niko is way more valuable for faze than karrigan. If guardian or olof or rain was the problem they would have left 100% but no team will kick their Star player over their IGL
A good IGL is way more valuable than a star player but I agree with what you said but not the way u said it. On any other team except like navi, if you have an IGL that works and it good, they are harder to come by then star players. Buttttt NiKo isn't just a star player he is like 2nd/3rd best in the world so that's a bit different but normally IGL is more valuable.
But karrigan's IGL DIDN'T WORK. they had 50% success rate at finals while being the heavily favored team..........
But NikO's attitude towards the game is quite crappy. Just look at what happened to mouse (while being lead by NikO). The whole team was adjusting to NikO's playstyle and played like shit, but immediately after he left, mouse started to play much better. I dare to say that if NikO left FaZe and they picked up some young talent or a great team player, the team would instantly improve.
when the mouz roster actually started do pretty well was a completely different team, but yeah I do agree NiKo's ego prob fucked over teams but at the end of the day NiKo pretty much runs that FaZe team and he has YnK aswell and NiKo was like the main reason y YnK was brought in as they played together and r bum buddies so he isn't going to get benched/kicked. But u have to realise the people who run faze are retarded, all they will see if NiKo 3rd best player and we spent like half a million on him so he is right.
I know it was a different line-up, one with Spiidi and denis. But this line up surprised a lot of people, because they've played much better than people anticipated. Even tho Spiidi and denis were playing like bots in the old line up, after NikO's departure, they've instantly improved. I'm quite certain that's not a coincidence. And regarding FaZe management, they're doing quite alright, until they make the C9 move (giving their best player ultimate power of choosing his teammates).
FaZe management are doing alright? bud look at all the lawsuits that faze are in right now, and there cs is one of their lowest priorities, they may even give up their team if it comes to it. So dont chat out ur arse say its quite alright.
Zeus is the least of problems on navi, even though they have 2 top 5 players, the problem is clearly not zeus strats/individual performance but more the other 2 bots on the team. The same problem that faze had, rain/olof/Guardian where not that good anymore, pointing to the IGL when you can't hit your shots is quite convenient

Faze had 4 of the best players in the world and karrigan, a very prestigious IGL to guide them to victory.
7 FINALS. I would say they had the upper hand on all those finals except maybe against astralis on katowice.

Players lost faith in him after 7 FINALS LOST. he wasn't the igl anymore and thus they didn't need him anymore.
I like Karrigan and I believe he is one of the best IGLS but he was not meant to be in faze. He wasted NiKo's 2 years peek for 7 lan wins,for one of the players in existence.
Neo is a great addition and it will work, expect them to win multiple tittles in the next months.

Zeus english is potato, so him as igl/coach wont work.
And flamie is the support for navi, with edward/boombl4 being entry. Olof is a far better support, and if you really need to replace rain, suNny is a better option (given, he got benched for a reason, and he is inconsistent), you could get electronic and make him entry, which would work.
Banter aside, benching Karrigan was the only move FaZe had.
They lost to Big in Cologne, exited group stage 0-2 in eleague premier, exited groups in dreamhack masters stockholm, then went 0-2 at the major.
