public transport is the worst thing in the heat. Especially because we have no AC... I think the train was like 30-40 degrees on my way to work today

It's not because of money, usually in the summer temperatures will reach maximum 25C and thats maybe like 2 or 3 days it gets that hot so there has never been a need for it

RIP. We have up to 45 degrees in the summer but Bulgaria also has more mountainous places. Highest point in Denmark is less than 200m and it Bulgaria is close to 3000m, we can hide somewhere from the weather. Pog

It gets to 41C where I live every summer, but the thing is I have AC a lot of people in Europe don’t have AC, so stay safe my EU brothers stay hydrated and cool as possible. I read there’s about to be a bad heat wave in Europe.

Pretty sure the heatwave already hit us tbh. And yeah in Denmark atleast we have no AC. On the contrary we have heat in the houses lol. A lot of tourists complained last summer about no AC in the hotels

I hope it’s not as bad as I’ve heard it could be, i read it could feel like 47C (not real temp but with other factors it feels like it in some places) I live in Texas the hottest it’s ever gotten was 43C it was not even possible to go outside I felt like I was going to die. For the winter it gets to around -3 as the lowest it gets for the year so I guess the winters are not that bad.

i think i would die in 43C tbh. The warmest ive ever experienced was 38C in Italy and i couldnt even think because of the heat. But as #17 says if it continues like this i should probably look into getting AC. Btw if you live in Texas are you then far away from the ocean? Luckily i live close to the ocean but if i lived far away from it i would feel like i was in an oven

Yeah I live about 6-7 hours away from the ocean, I been to the ocean 3-4 times it was so humid and salty it made me feel like i just ran a marathon I hated it so much. The Texas ocean sucks really bad, I hope I can visit another one some day. 32C is not even bad if it’s not humid but with the humidity it feels like 40C every day, when you walk outside it feels like you get hit with a blanket of heat.

Yeah the humidity can fucking suck. I guess its because the gulf of mexico usually is quite hot(dont know if its true) but the ocean here is never too hot but always very refreshing

Usually we have like max 10 days of the year over 20C, the past summers have become warmer and warmer. Somedays over 30C. On the other hand we have -30C some days in the winter.
