HLTV Censorship #2

Hi admins I made a thread a week or so ago about how my comment on the Blast Moscow event announcement thread was deleted/censored. Here is my thread: hltv.org/forums/threads/2071344/hltv-cen.. I made a similar comment on the Copenhagen announcement thread, and this time even clearly stated that I was giving my opinion, and the comment was once again removed. I enjoy coming on this site, keeping up with CS:GO news, and having debates with sensible and respectful CS fans. I would like to know what rule I have broken with my comments on the two Blast threads, as I would not like to be banned from the site. I am simply seeking a clarification as to which rule was invoked and how/why it was applied in these two cases. You are welcome to private message me if you would rather not answer publicly. I have changed the forum title from “Off Topic” to “HLTV.org Webpage” to improve the visibility of this thread. Many thanks Lightning_DC_, user ID 846206

It happens often that pros are not happy with things you said and report you to the admins. Maybe this happened with the tournaments organizers in this case? Also be grateful they didnt ban you))

I think in this situation, where it is not black and white which rule has been applied, and their decision has not been explained, it would be very unfair to ban me. If someone from RFRSH/Blast is genuinely going through HLTV posts and reporting ones they don’t like, and HLTV is then deleting them without notifying the OP and/or considering if the post violates any rules, then there’s something much bigger going on than just deleting my posts because of my opinion on RFRSH/Blast.

Media censorship is only going to get bigger. This is on a pretty minor sale compared to something like Google manipulating search results but it’s censorship all the same.

Hey, I looked into it now and you're right, that shouldn't have been deleted and I enabled the comment (only saw the original one in the Moscow news was removed, not sure about the second one, it seems to be there as of now). We'll look into why that happened in the first place

Thank you Tgwri1s, I appreciate you responding to me. I did not intend to criticise you or the admins in any way; I was mostly confused as to how the rules had been applied. #longliveHLTV
