5 years contract...
2019-07-02 14:24
in a 5 year contract, if the players go well, the buyout price would be enormous

If the org gets fucked up. - They can't leave - Their Career is ruined

Still it's profitable for him for sure. If you believe that CEOs actually care about their CS teams results you're an idiot.

yea people are dumb, they don't know that a team doesn't need to be good to be profitable for the owners, take TSM at LoL for instance they were never the best team and couldn't compete with EU/ASIA but they had the largest fanbase Reginald became a millionaire.

You have many examples in CS as well, and I think the best one if current VP VP is one of the biggest orgs in the world, and they have barely TOP30 team (This team has potential, but no results since 8 months) VP has massive fanbase in Poland, and organisation is making way more money with polish lineup, than they would've made with some TOP10 international roster

LMAO, the aug still strong in the hands of Furia
2019-07-20 02:31
With exception of that FURIA tier3 team without bug weapon which was AUG before fix and AUG requires no skill at all
2019-07-20 02:35
It's the same weapon for everyone, csgo is not just about guns, Furia has a unique game style, and that's why they're rising.
2019-07-20 02:51
yes they're very unique and smart with public-style pushing through smoke without timings and without using brain and trying to pretend like they are skilled players. it's not same weapon for everyone. m4 and ak is same for everyone because it was used forever and aug was just broken in cs:go so furia used it to make fake results. yes they deserve it because they played with it before and they know how to use it. but this change was broken at all thats why its fixed now.

Furia strat tldr: just Rush either of the bombsites and try your best
2019-07-20 08:33
If your opponent did something stupid and you did not punish him, he is not retarded, sick or bad. It's you who needs to improve! Now if you punish your opponent's idiocy, congratulations. He did no more than his duty!

Ofc every team punishes for it. Not saying that every furias strat is to rush a bombsite. sadly alot of them are, atleast usually with some quick smokes, but sometimes even without them
2019-07-20 16:43
I really like these strategies, because it's totally unexpected and that's why it works, and they do in several ways, standard strategies the cs is already full and we're tired of seeing. What the Furia did was brilliant, I would say it innovated the set, a freestyle mix of 2017 with a more thoughtful move of 2019, and this caused several types of reactions in people and players, when it works is simply phenomenal, and when not it works they're crazy rushin 'without strategy.

+1 but the only problem is it is almost impossible to stay unpredictable, that is one of the reasons for poor results on t1 events lately
2019-07-20 17:35
Yeah, i agree, but they have a good coach and IGL, i think they have a lot to prove, they are new in the scene, kscerato and yuriih, all the team it is in constantly evolution, the last event they almost beat Navi, a big team, they need experience, but for a new team, take the top #5 its amazing, beating astralis twice, vitality, renegades, fnatic.

It is a puzzling business decisions when you consider how other sports operate on 1 - 3 year contracts with only their stars being locked up long term. But hey, who am I to judge, it's their team, not mine.
2019-07-20 02:37
But other sports have bigger rosters. It's easier to substitute players. They can even substitute during games. I think synergy is one of the rarest thing to achieve in csgo and they have it.

So so dumb for a CSGO player to sign a five year deal. The org owner is smart as fuck. IT's the player who's made a huge mistake.
2019-07-20 17:54
-bind upcoming star players to long contracts - dumb choose one
